Begin your scuba diving adventure in the breathtaking waters of Bora Bora with the SSI Basic Diver program, an introduction to the underwater world for first-time divers. Your experience starts with a safety briefing and an introduction to the basic scuba diving equipment and techniques with your professional instructor. You will learn essential skills and how to feel comfortable breathing underwater before entering the water. Once ready, enjoy two guided scuba dives of ~45 minutes each in Bora Bora’s crystal-clear lagoon. You will explore the underwater world at a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), surrounded by colorful tropical fish, coral formations, and the incredible marine environment of French Polynesia. Your instructor will be by your side throughout the experience, adapting the pace to your comfort level and ensuring a safe and enjoyable dive. This SSI Basic Diver program does not provide a certification upon completion, but it allows you to continue your scuba training within 6 months toward your SSI Scuba Diver certification (up to 12 meters) or Open Water certification (up to 18 meters). The program also credits you with one dive toward your future training.
