On this tour of the Korean Demilitarized Zone from Seoul, feel the reality of Korea’s turbulent history as you explore the line that divides North Korea and South Korea. Travel by comfortable coach and learn fascinating history from your expert guide about the role this zone played in the Cold War and the Korean War, and how it now stands as a symbol of both division and unification. A moderate amount of walking through a steep and narrow tunnel involved - Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended

Participants must be physically fit to walk about 1300 feet (400 meters) at an 11 degree gradient

You do not need to send a copy of your passport

Japanese / chinese speaking tour guide require at least 4 people

The visit to the DMZ was fascinating, highlights being the q&a with a defector, opportunity to use telescopes to see into North Korea and the chance to visit the tunnel where DPRK tried to dig through to the South many years ago. Katie our guide was so informative and helpful and I would thoroughly recommend the trip

A good structure with good explanations that had helped us understand the significance of each place but also free time where we actually knew what we were doing. Shoutout Katie from Tyler k, and the bus driver for being a speedy and good driver. Fee was decent and for a full bus it didn’t feel that packed, best for those wanting a good understanding and views of the dmz
