Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Discover one of Korea’s most meaningful and visually stunning destinations near the DMZ. Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park is a place where history, peace, and art come together in a wide-open landscape. Walk through vast green fields filled with colorful pinwheels, symbolizing hope and peace for the Korean Peninsula. Explore unique outdoor sculptures and enjoy panoramic views that make this park perfect for relaxing strolls and unforgettable photos. Located just minutes from the DMZ, this park offers a rare opportunity to experience both the beauty of nature and the powerful story of Korea’s divided history—all in one place. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape, cultural insight, or Instagram-worthy scenery, Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park is a must-visit destination.
Visit Mangbaedan, one of the most emotional and meaningful sites near the Imjingak area, where the deep history of Korea’s division comes to life. Mangbaedan is a symbolic altar built for displaced families who were separated during the Korean War. For decades, people who could not return to their hometowns in North Korea have come here to bow, pray, and honor their ancestors—especially during traditional holidays like Lunar New Year and Chuseok.

Tour leader Jun is knowledgeable and professional. He is very friendly and obliging. We did lots of tracking and learnt a lot about South Korea's history with North Korea, especially on the separation & unification My family enjoyed the day tour very much, kudos to Jun. We had a great time!
