• Amazing views and fantastic guide with great knowledge

  Anne was an amazing guide who took us to three different villages and explained everything to us at each place. The boat ride was in French but we were able to use English pre recorded headsets that kept us informed as we went along. Highly recommend Anne and this short but wonderful introduction to this area

  A pleasant short boat ride, beautiful surroundings. But the English translation did not fit with the altered tour, did not mention plenty of formations that the guide was explaining in French and didn't bother to switch to English for the rest of us (yes he knew English), so we missed out on a lot. Plus the guide made fun of english speakers, as evidenced by the pointed laughter in the direction of those wearing headphones.

  Well worth doing. Visited 3 lovely villages including a 50 minute boat ride on The River Dordogne. Lena our guide was excellent. She's a credit to Viator

  I’ve always wanted to visit the Dordogne and this was a dream come true. Lena was knowledgeable and accommodating and I would highly recommend this trip!

  Wonderful 1/2 day tour to Dordogne Villages from Sarlat. Anne was our tour guide and made it the best tour. Because of so much rain, she knew how to organize the trip so that we could see the towns with the best weather possible. We were not able to take the boat ride due to the inclement weather, but we were able to visit another beautiful village instead. And, a secret about Anne - she knows all about Bruno, if you are a Martin Walker fan. We would highly recommend this trip whether or not you are able to take the boat trip, and it will be an especially great tour if you have Anne as your guide.

  Guide Lena drove us around the medieval Dordogne villages ... very knowledgeable and informative ... felt very comfortable even as a solo traveller in the group...river cruise was a lovely aspect of the tour ... good local dining recommendations as well.
