5.00Allie was a fantastic guide! She kept us on track and happily rearranged us to even out the raft when I asked to rest from paddling, wanting to just ride along. She was very knowledgeable about the river and area

5.00Hunter was awesome on this trip! He was very funny and made sure there was never a dull moment on this adventure. At one point we even managed to rescue a whole tire that was floating down the river with us and took it all the way down the rest of the river. Today’s trip was amazing. I would definitely do this again! Thanks Hunter!!

5.00We had an awesome time floating the river with Kina and Steve! We are local to the area and had a large group of family visiting, ages 5yo to a 72yo - fun had by all! We knew the water levels would be great for our group – we enjoyed the time together just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery, and when we wanted to cool off, we enjoyed swimming in the calm parts. Of course, the whole family loved the adrenaline of Smelter! Thanks for another great trip!

5.00More than just rafting. Emphasize the surfing, the boat slide and my favorite going of the Santa Rita Park rapids. I wish that there was the ability to get a picture of that.

5.00Cody was a great guide for our family, who had 8 and 9 year old first time rafters. He was engaged with the kids but professional in his guiding, and fun and interesting to talk to for the adults. The whole company and their guides made the day easy and enjoyable. Go with this group for a great day on the river! This excursion is low key but plenty exciting for first time rafters and even experienced ones.

5.00Cody was a fabulous guide. He was laid back but informative, funny and really engaged with our 8 and 9 year old. They had such a blast on their first whitewater and Cody guided us well through all the rapids. He and all the guides made sure everyone had fun with extra water slides and games, and they were all engaging and kind. I would highly recommend Mountain Waters Rafting to anyone wanting a low key but fun rafting experience!

5.00Mountain Waters and Rafting 1/2 day trip is AWESOME!!! We booked at last minute as a bucket list item. Our half-day tour with Mountain Waters Rafting in Durango was the absolute highlight of our trip! From start to finish, the entire operation was professional, organized, and incredibly fun. Our guide, Cody, was phenomenal. He was the perfect balance of highly skilled, safety-conscious, and hilarious. He knew exactly how to navigate the river to give us an exciting ride while keeping everyone perfectly safe. Cody's great energy, local knowledge, and awesome personality truly made the trip unforgettable. If you book a tour here, absolutely ask for Cody! We will definitely be back for a full-day trip next time.

5.00This was my third time using Mountain Waters Rafting, my granddaughter’s first trip down the Animas. We had soooo much! Hannah was our guide & she did a fantastic job, telling us how to maneuver through the rapids. On this family friendly trip, wearing wet suits because the water was 55°, my granddaughter & I were able to swim on the first stretch. Amazing! I highly recommend this company!

5.00Such a great trip! Three women (mature :-) ) . 2 first timers. Our guide, Amelia, was amazing fun and talented. She guided us well, made sure we were safe, and most importantly made sure we had a great time. And she gave us nightlife recommendations for later. Amelia also tried to get us to 'surf a rapid'. Well - we tried. :-) Absolutely recommend Mountain Waters.
