PADI Discover Scuba Dive is the best way to get a taste of the underwater world. It is great for those just visiting, or those wanting to see if a longer course is for them. With ocean dives, and in the safety of a beautiful island and the Great Barrier Reef, you'll receive a true understanding and experience of SCUBA Diving.

Once we have completed essential paperwork, we will conduct a basic theory lesson, gear familiarisation and in-water skills. Then you will travel by boat to our dive site, and this dive will take you to some of the best reef the Great Barrier Reef has to offer, where you'll complete a 30-45min scuba with one of our experienced instructors.

5.00Great experience with Keppel Dive. We completed 2 training dives. Couldn't be happier with the experience, Anton is a great instructor, Jenn and the team couldn't be more helpful with bookings and assistance
Some high points were seeing, a turtle, a porpoise and very exciting as basking Leopard Shark, which is meant to be rare

5.00We didn't want to snorkel or dive. We just wanted a complete circuit of Keppel Island. Tom was our skipper and he was amazing giving us such a great guided tour and passing on so much information. He also found special spots for us to get out on the Island and do some walking and looking. The boat was an amazing boat to be in, very exhilarating!

5.00We went snorkeling and our guide was Antonio. He knowledge was comprehensive and his delivery was excellent. My 6 year was towed by Antonio and when he said his hands were tried, Antonio towed him using the pool noodle. We all really enjoyed our experience.

5.00Awesome experience. Did snorkelling trip with our 10yr old. Loved every bit of it. Worth every penny. Hired snorkelling gear day before to get practice. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

5.00It was very nice to have found one of your staff members who spoke my language. Sol was able to talk to me in Spanish and was very helpful in helping me to get information about this experience as it was the first time that I was going to do it. All the equipment was available, I found the price ok, and the expertise very special The guide lady was so sweet and very responsible with her role. Thank you 😊

5.00We discovered Keppel Dive by chance during a short stay in Yeppoon, having never been scuba diving before, and the experience was unforgettable. The guides had a deep knowledge of and passion for diving, which made the moment truly magical, in a safe and unique environment. We came to Keppel Island for the first time by chance, but it definitely won’t be the last. Highly recommended

5.00great time at keppel dive. went a bit further out of their way to get some half decent visibility after the cyclone and choppy weather. Staff were very friendly and professional.
Take a tour to see the coral unless you are a brilliant swimmer.

5.00The trip over the Great Keppel Island felt like a bucking bull ride that lasted 45 minutes but this was due to rough waters. The boat crew were very good and explained the scenario of collecting our snorkel gear once we are off the boat and therefore made for a good experience. After talking to the crew on land we decided to walk to Monkey Beach, this is a rugged 45 minute walk but well worth it. The coral is a decent 100m off the beach, and we couldn't swim that far so ended up just paddling at the beach. Lunch was wonderful, the burger is very filling and served with chips and a drink. At this point we were physically exhausted and chose to get the 2pm ferry back through much calmer waters. I would definitely go back and spend a couple of days on Great Keppel Island and go on a tour to see the coral. In all a wonderful experience thank you to the team.

5.00Going to Keppel Island was the best choice. Only the CIA chosen didn't seem very good to me. From the reception at the office to the withdrawal of the ticket and without much explanation. The service on the island was quite time-consuming. The q tour I did to the eco guided snorkel tour was wonderful. Since the care of the Sun and the guide Antonio and his assistants were very careful
