The journey will take you through breathtaking landscapes, with altitudes ranging from 920 meters in Pietrapertosa to 660 meters in the Caperrino Stream valley, before climbing again to Castelmezzano.

It’s the perfect moment to reflect on the area’s history before continuing the climb to Pietrapertosa.

5.00Mariacristina Mona was an absolute delight to be with while exploring the area around Castelmezzano. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable but warm and engaging and a great storyteller. The hike was delightful as spring flowers were in bloom and sky’s were clear and sunny. I highly recommend this experience for anyone that enjoys the great outdoors.
We have to give ourselves the means to go but the experience is great

5.00To visit absolutely! Wonderful! Castelmezzano is a little gem! Petrapertozza is also a very impressive village! The small Dolomites in Basilicata deserve themselves;)

5.00Castelmezzano is a small life-size nativity scene. To be lived inside to savor its beauty. Pietrapertosa, another beautiful village perched on the Lucanian Dolomites. You can take the path of the 7 stones that leads from one town to another, or a unique experience, you can go from one town to another with the Flight of the Angel.

5.00Two villages nestled in the rocks of these beautiful Lucanian Dolomites. Everything seems unreal, taken from a postcard, you would never stop taking photos and admiring the landscape from every angle
