2.00Where do I complain and ask for money back? This was not a walking tour (which it is advertised to be). Mattias was a fine guide on the bus but he didn't walk us through and explain anything in Pisa or Lucca.

4.00We were under the understanding (maybe we misread the description) that we were on a “private” van for our family of 9. We didn’t realize that we were on large buses with lots of other people. We spent about 3 hours in Lucca and then only about 1.5 hours in Pisa. We had booked the Leaning Tower, Baptistery, Cemetary ticket, etc. at Pisa on our own not realizing that we literally had to run from one thing to the other in Pisa. We barely had any time in Pisa. You have to walk a long ways from where the bus drops you off in Pisa and back to the bus, which also took up a lot of time. The lady that organized us was very kind. The transportation was just not quite what we expected.

3.00Our guide was Sara. We were disappointed that as we traveled to and from Lucca and Pisa, the tour guide did not explain the sites as passed by them. No explanation of the area was given. During the walking tour through Lucca. the guide took us to the destinations listed on the map with no context provided, only when and where to meet. The bus driver also took phone calls as he was driving to and from destinations. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the destinations and explore on their own.

4.00When you get to pizza expect a long walk in the heat through a residential area from where the bus stops to the entrance to the wall city of Pisa. Not pleasant or enjoyable, but it is what it is unless you decide to take a small group tour or private tour then you can get dropped off right in the front otherwise, you have to walk about a mile in the heat not good.

5.00This was a cruise shore excursion. Meet up in Livorno was well organized and easy. Small group on nice bus. Pisa and Lucca are not far from Livorno so travel time was pleasantly limited on this outing. Pisa was so beautiful, much better than I expected...a Tourist spot yes, but so worth it! Doesnt need a long visit if you just want to walk the area. This tour is too short for climbing the Tower, FYI. Lucca was a wonderful , unique town. Walk the wall and relax! George, our guide had lots of helpful advice for this "self guided tour", provided very good walking maps, and excellent communication for our meet ups. But actually guided us quite a bit sharing a lot of knowledge about both towns! This was one of the best value tours I've taken and also a more laid back one!
