  It was a great tour. The subject was very sad but the presentation was very good. Our guide, Nicola,was very knowledgeable and made things come to life. We couldn't have had a more memorable experience.

  Make sure to check weather. If it rains you are outside much of this tour. Guide was extremely knowledgeable

  We had a great day!! Iain was our guide. His grasp of world history is remarkable! We have our teens with us and he made a point to include them in the conversation. He gave an excellent background prior to entrance to Dachau - explaining how we got to formation of the camps. It was background we would not have had without a knowledgeable guide! He was extremely engaging ( enough that he should be a History teacher) to keep adults and kids hanging in his words as we moved through the camp. He kept all the duckling in line as we moved easily from the meeting point right next to the train station, until we made it to the camp. 1 short train ride (12 min) and 1 short bus ride (10 min- this one is crowded!). There is restrooms along the way- even inside the camp. You can also purchase food and drink at the camp. It was good and not crazy expensive! Such a good experience all the way around!

  Our Dachau tour and our guide, Scott, were both excellent. I suppose unless you are a Dachau scholar, you’re definitely going to learn somethings on this tour. And feel some things, like the presence of the SS and the thousands and thousands of terrorized souls who you will have privilege of bearing witness to. Difficult and beneficial, worthwhile.

  We did the Dachau tour with Aileen as our guide. She did an incredible job taking us by bus and train to the site. We were glad to have her guiding us through Dachau. She gave us great information about each area and also gave us some time to look on our own. I think if we would have tried to visit without Aileen’s help, we would’ve missed a lot of the history and places of importance. We would highly recommend purchasing this tour!

  This was actually 2 tours in 1 day, provided by Radius Tours. I went on 16 Apr 2026. The meeting point at their office was very easy to get to, near Hauptbahnhof. In the morning, Patricia was our guide on the Tour of the former concentration camp at Dachau. Patricia was very clear in her instructions for us, navigating public transport to Dachau. She had a lot of experience on this tour and filled us with facts about the background and history of the concentration camp at Dachau. She led us to explore the buildings and gave us sufficient time to wander on our own as well. Her explanations were detailed and filled in the picture of the horrors of Dachau very well. Patricia was able to answer all our questions on the tour. A very sobering visit. Very meaningful and unforgettable. We saw several German high school groups visiting as well, and having lessons on the terrible history of this place. I would highly recommend this tour. In the afternoon, we had Aileen take us on a tour of the World War II sites within the downtown area of Central Munich, including several places Hitler spent time at. Aileen presented us with very well-researched commentary on the origins of Nazi ideology in the aftermath of World War I, and the factors which led Hitler to develop his abhorrent ideologies. She showed us many buildings and landmarks with associations to Nazism and WW2. This was a walking tour at a reasonably comfortable pace, with some rest stops along the way. Most of it was outdoors and the weather was lovely. Aileen was good at answering our questions and made the tour enjoyable. I would also highly recommend this tour.

  Nicholas was terrific. I would highly recommend his tour. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. He presented the material in a clear and concise manner.

  An excellent and emotional tour. Nic was a fantastic tour guide giving both an educational and engaging tour of Dachau and the history of Munich that led to the rise of the Third Reich. Very gut wrenching, but highly recommend.
