Pozzo De San Patrizio
The Pozzo di San Patrizio, or St. Patrick's Well, is the second most important attraction in Orvieto, after the Duomo, and is located in the centre of Orvieto near gardens that include Etruscan remains. The well was dug in the XVI century to guarantee a supply of water to its citizens all year round, in case of calamity or to survive prolonged sieges.

5.00It was a great mix of tours - the underground caves, Duomo, fantastic lunch (with more underground caves) and highlight was the trip to Cavita le Bagnoregio.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Massimiliano (Max), was a walking, talking history wonder. The cities, the lunch, and the overall tour exceeded our expectations. Don't miss this one!

5.00Our entire day with Emanuella was absolute perfection. She delighted our group with her kindness and vast knowledge of local history. We couldn’t have asked for a more delicious lunch at her favorite restaurant and the cave tours were a wonderful bonus. The walk to Civita di Bagnoregio was like stepping into a fairy tale. This was one of my very favorite days I highly recommend you book this Orvieto tour.

5.00THE MOST AMAZING DAY OF OUR TRIP!!!!! I can't thank David (Umbria Con Me) enough for his personal care and attention in booking this trip for our 2 couples while we were in Orvieto. We knew we had a full day adventure planned, yet were over the moon happy with ever part of the plan for the day. Our guide, Elena, was outstanding. She met us at our property in Orvieto and our historical journey began. We walked the streets of Orvieto as we learned about the history . . . .the amazing Duomo, the underground caves, amongst the sites prior to our arrival at Ristorante Il Labirinto where we have the most delicious lunch! The cool part of our lunch venue was that they also had access to the underground tunnels and caverns. So another short tour of these and then we were off to meet our driver who took us to Civita di Bagnoregio. OUTSTANDING!!! The 'dying city' that sits atop of a hilltop is only accessible by walking across a lengthy bridge, yet is is well worth the walk! After finishing our tour there we returned to our rental in Orvieto. Elena, you are lovely, so kind, with an immense amount of knowledge that you openly shared with us on this tour. Thank you to David and Elena for making this day so spectacular, and one of our fondest memories of our time in Italy and Orvieto!!! This tour is worth every penny and I strongly encourage anyone with the opportunity to connect with Umbria Con Me (David) to book while in the region.

5.00Very beautiful unique green and gray mix exterior, detailed carvings over the doors as well amazing sculpture of the crucifix are some of the highlights.
