  Booking a private tour instead of taking the train was 100% the best decision! We made it to the Yukon in a fraction of the time and still were able to see Carcross, Emerald Lake, Yukon sign, Alaska sign, Suspension Bridge and more unbelievably beautiful spots. Vanessa was so sweet and knowledgeable about the area and the history behind it. The absolute highlight was seeing a momma bear and her two cubs come down from the tree to hang out right next to us! It was amazing! We also went to Skagway Fish Company on Vanessa’s suggestion and we were not disappointed in the least! Everything was delicious! Having a local point of view is definitely the way to go! We will definitely be booking with Vanessa again when we go back!

  This experience was our family’s favorite day of our 10 day Alaska trip. It was everything we wanted to do but didn’t want to be stuck on the train all morning. Vanessa was very easy to communicate with. She picked us up right at the dock in a very nice SUV. It was extremely comfortable for our family of 5. Every second was filled with the most breathtaking scenery and narration from Vanessa about the indigenous tribes and the Klondike gold rush history. She was so knowledgeable and answered so many of our questions about the history and nature of Alaska and the Yukon. We made so many incredible stops along the way to view wildlife and take pictures and for my kids to get out and stretch and touch the snow, drink glacier water, skip rocks on the lakes, run down the desert dunes and just be kids. There were also plenty of bathroom breaks. It was a great mix of history and scenery for the adults and fun for the kids. My kids are 8, 11 and 14. • Wonderful way to enjoy the local landscape and history

  Vanessa was a font of information. So enthusiastic and interesting. She was able to tailor the tour around our wishes. The car was comfortable. We were given lost of photo opportunities and Vanessa knew the best places to stop. The icing on the cake was that we spotted a moose and baby and a bear again we were given the time to take photos and enjoy watching the animals. Far more relaxing than an excursion on a bus.

  Vanessa picked us up at the cruise dock and we drove up to the Yukon. We saw a wolf! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and there were a lot of mountain goats. She provided a ton of information about the areas we went through and gave us plenty of stops for photo opportunities and we had a little time for shopping and snacks in Carcross. She dropped us off in town at a restaurant for lunch and made everything so easy.

  This is beautiful rugged country that you have to see to both appreciate and respect. The first arrivals in Skagway were duped into believing that this was gold country. It wasn’t!

  Emilano was an awesome guide! We booked for four of us and the ride nice and comfortable. Amazing views and awesome history and story telling. We loved learning about the history and geography of the Yukon. Loved stopping in Carcoss and meeting Richard and trying out his maples syrups, maple butter and Jellys! Such a cute small town. This was a nice tour to get away from the crowds and have our own unique experience from other cruisers. I would highly recommend!

  We had an amazing experience with our driver, E! He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and is an entertaining storyteller. The scenery is amazing. The Escalade is comfortable and spacious. Photo stops were important to my husband with his big camera, and E never made us feel rushed. This whole experience was excellent. Highly recommend.

  Hands down our party's favorite excursion and time spent in port in Alaska! So much better than a shuttle tour. Our Guide Emiliano was very knowledgeable, personable, informative and willing to go the extra mile to make our experience a great one. We were blessed with good weather, which of course helped make our day and the scenery that much better.

  Perfect private tour away from crowds and tour buses. Amazing scenery, tour length, and knowledgeable guide who took us to the right stops for pictures. Highly recommend.
