  We thought we could drive the jeep ourselves and that this would be in a group. Nice, rough ride. Shorter than indicated. Point for improvement: set up a sign at the meeting point. Now it was very unclear.

  After beautiful Greek and Roman sites, busy Palermo and beautiful beaches, we explored the real Sicily. On roads you normally won't drive into the woods of the National Parks with the Sicilian wildlife and amazing views. Two guides who love their IJsland and lunch with you at a very special place. Thanks guys. Worth every penny.

  The views on the trip were fantastic…be sure and have a mutually agreed upon pick up location before the day of your trip. We only saw sheep and cows…the guide did not communicate equally with all the members of the trip.. The lunch served was delicious…we did expect more information during the trip about the wildlife and greater insight into the political and natural history of the region.

  Without a doubt, venture out of town and discover the real Sicily. This is an experience that's worth every penny, and I only wish it lasted hours longer. Emanuele's expertise was awe-inspiring, as he educated us about Pollina's medieval town, cork tree cultivation, and the distinctive bells for cows, sheep, and goats. His exceptional driving skills were matched by his vast knowledge, which enabled him to answer every question from our group with confidence.

  Amazing experience. Laura is a prudent driver and showed us great spots we would have never gone to on our own. Excellent lunch too ! We recommend !!

• A beautiful tour through nature in Sicily.

  Wonderful experience on dirt roads through the nature and mountains of Sicily. Top guide who speaks good English and tells you everything throughout the tour and prepares a delicious lunch in a prime location in the mountains. We were picked up at the campsite and our adventure began. In short, a must for people who want to see something more like the coast and the busy tourist spots. Silence, space and tranquility on this beautiful tour.

  Emanuele is a wonderful guide for this area between the Madonie and Nebrodi national parks. You can ask him all about the flora and fauna and he will also tell you about the people who have lived here over the years. We saw wild boar, drove through olive groves, past vineyards and cork woods. We stopped at two points to take in the amazing views and listen to the silence, broken only by the sound of cow bells. Emanuele and Charlotte provided us with a great lunch of local produce, some of which they produce themselves. Emanuele is a thoughtful and interesting host.

  A brilliant 5 hour trip with Emanuele. The mountain and coastal views are amazing. Lots of animals sighted including a solo eagle hunting and a pair of eagles flying high above in the clouds, plus wild boar and, of course, cows. Lunch was lovely too - simple, seasonal local food from the forest at the mountain chalet. Our guide Emanuele was from the area and had great knowledge of the history and biodiversity of the Madonie region and of the mountain top villages we saw and visited.
