Children 6 and under are entitled to free access to the Vatican Museums (with proof of age)
Children aged 7-18 are entitled to a reduced entry fee (see tour and ticket pricing) and must provide proof of age.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked start time. Tickets are time sensitive and we cannot accomodate late arrivals.
Important: St. Peter's Basilica is not included in all tour options. If you wish to visit the Basilica as part of your experience, please ensure you select a tour where it is explicitly listed as included.
Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.
Please include all names as they appear on your passports when booking. Tickets are non-transferable and if the names on your booking do not match your ID you may be denied access and will not be due a refund. Any name changes must be communicated at least 72 hours in advance.
Please bring official ID with you (or a photo/photocopy).
Important: The ‘Basilica Only’ option it does NOT include access to the Vatican Museums.
Important: From January 12 to March 31, 2026, conservation work will be carried out on Michelangelo’s Last Judgment (Giudizio Universale). The Sistine Chapel will remain open to visitors; however, the fresco will be temporarily not visible due to scaffolding. We thank you for your understanding during this important preservation project.

5.00We had a lovely tour this morning with Sarah! She delivered just the right amount of information and kept our group moving to see many of the best sites in the Vatican museums. We were able to get into the museums quickly and efficiently before the crowds built up too much, definitely book an early morning start time. Sarah was a great guide, answered all of our questions and was able to keep our family, including a teenager, interested and engaged for three hours despite the heat in Rome today. We never felt rushed and it was great skipping the lines. Thank you so much Sarah! Gratzie mille!

4.00Catalina was very knowledgeable and seemed interested in the tour herself, which made it all the better, It is a good long walk thru the Vatican, so be prepared for 3 hours of moving, but you could spend 10x that time in there

5.00Exceptional tour. It was clear Oscar knew the Vatican tour inside and out. There is so much to learn and he was like your history professor in college who knew interesting and funny side stories - even kept our two teenagers interested even in big crowds and hot weather. Definitely recommend. Very professional, thorough and loved the smaller group. EvoArt and Oscar is the best.

4.00While it was difficult to find the group initially, the tour guide was very thorough and knowledgeable. It only took 2 hours but that was good enough for us. Being such a hot day it was about all we could handle anyway. Learned a lot and got to see the Sistine Chapel.

5.00Our guide Sara was knowledgeable about more than each stop. She set up the tour giving us a larger picture of the history and events of different periods of the Vatican which helped us better appreciate the important events of the history of the Vatican. We can’t say enough that booking this tour get you in and moving , not having to wait in line for hours. Sara keep our small group of 10 engaged and moving while conscious of need for breaks. Having a small group was the second big plus, after having Sara as our guide. Unlike other tours no one was lost. Thank you Sara and Ecoart.
