I searched for and booked our trip to Plymouth online. I had looked at so many that I was uncertain which tour I had reserved. There was confusion on my end because I did not receive confirmation or any communication until the night before. By then, I assumed we weren't going because no cc charges or confirmation email were received. The morning of the trip I received a call from our guide. He was driving in to Boston to pick us up at 9am. He was very apologetic about the lack of communication. The trip went very smoothly from that point. We loved our guide Stewie. He was very accomodating. He made sure we had beverages and got us a golf cart ride to avoid the long walk in to the villages. Stewie was very knowledgeable about Boston and pointed out buildings explaining the history as we left town. When we got to Plymouth Stewie seemed to know all the staff there and he helped us through the tours. I was searching for the interpreter of my ancestors Stephen and Constance Hopkins. We found him and Stewie was as excited to learn about them as I was. Stewie is a history buff and said he learns new things on every tour he hosts! After Plymouth we invited Stewie to join us for lunch at a seafood spot near Plymouth Rock. He is very good company for families even explaining to my grandchildren all about Boston Baked Beans! After lunch we toured the Mayflower II finishing up our day by 430pm.
