Every night at sunset, the truly incredible spectacle of the Penguin Parade occurs on the beaches of Phillip Island. The local colony of little penguins emerges from the water to make their way to the burrows in the sand dunes - and this tour is your chance to witness this unforgettable phenomenon in real life!
We’ll spend the day exploring top attractions including Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park and the Nobbies, before settling in on the sand, ready for the main show at the Penguin Parade. Moonlit Sanctuary is home to stacks of well-known Aussie animals including kangaroos, wombats, and Tasmanian devils, plus many lesser-known species such as the spot-tailed quoll, yellow-bellied glider and long-nosed potoroo.

5.00We had an amazing day during this whole trip. Our tour guide was Elliot and he was super engaging, funny, friendly, and a great driver! He gave us all plenty of information to enjoy our trip but also gave us enough down time in the bus to relax! We got to see multiple different animals at the Moonlit Sanctuary, but the penguins at Philip Island were definitely the highlight of the trip and made the whole trip 100% worth it. Highly recommend! :)

5.00Quick overview of Phillip Island. We stopped at the Moonlight sanctuary on the way there where we could see a bunch of Australian animals. I'm not a big fan of zoos but I enjoyed this visit. I also loved the Nobbies, where we could see some penguins in their burrows. Very cute! And then the reason of the trip: the penguin parade! At this time of the year they don't come in thousands but in hundreds. Yet it was a thrilling experience to see them emerge from the water and group before marching. I just wish we could have had an extra hour or so to spend 30 mins more in the sanctuary and at the Nobbies.
Incredible trip with an even more incredible guide :)

5.00All of the stops and sight seeing on this trip are perfect. However, what really made this a great trip for me was my tour guide Craig. As one of the only solo people on my trip Craig made sure I had someone to talk with and made sure I got my pictures. Of course the penguin parade sanctuary and beaches were all amazing, but I would book this trip again just to be able to have Craig again!

5.00The penguin experience was the highlight of the day, for sure. We also enjoyed the Moonlit Sanctuary as we were able to see and get videos of the koala feeding. Cowes was a nice city but the beachside area that we went to was under construction and many of the shops/ restaurants were closed.

5.00The entire journey was well laid out and our driver/guide (Craig) was fantastic! He took such good care of us and made the trip so fun! He shared so much of his knowledge at the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park with my friend and me. It made us feel very welcomed and we appreciated this gesture of kindness. Each stop on the tour he was very clear with the return time which kept everything on track. The Penguin Parade was a definite highlight! A perfectly wonderful day!

4.00The trip to Phillip Island was great. There were some beautiful views along the way and I enjoyed the seaside atmosphere of Cowes... It was also a good experience to see Koala in Koala Conservation Reserve. However, some things can be improved. Time was short at a few stops and everything seemed a bit busy as the group was quite large. Penguin Parade is interesting but has to be seen from a distance, so the experience didn't feel as special as expected.
