During 12 days, we offer you a discovery of each religion in exceptional places. In Aurangabad, you have an option of homestay for discover the Indian culture meticulously.
This tour is ideal for understanding Indian spirituality in all aspects. We choose places that are not very touristy or off beat in order to make it as closely experience as possible.

After breakfast, proceed to Malabar hill. In front of an ancient step-well, we will explain you the different religions of India.
Babulnath Temple
This temple is one of the oldest temple of the city. It was built in 12th century. It's a Shiva temple. It became famous because of the Sense 8 Netlfix series.
Haji Ali Mosque
The Haji Ali Dargah was constructed in 1431 in the memory of a wealthy Muslim merchant, Sayyed Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca. The Dargah is in a middle of the sea. It's a nice place for walk and also to be away from the city

After the lunch, we will come back to Colaba and will visit the south of Bombay
Gateway Of India
We will start the visit of south Mumbai by the symbol of the city, the gateway of India. This gate was made when the British king visited India.
Shivaji Maharaj Museum of Indian History
We will see the museum from outside. If you want to visit it, you can do it on your own ( not included).
Jehangir Art Gallery
An art gallery for see the new generation artists from India.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus
This train station is one of the monuments in Mumbai which is in UNESCO world heritage. We will go back to your hotel seeing the rest of the Victorian architecture monuments of the city
Cathedral of the Holy Name
To end this day with memories, we will see the beautiful cathedral of the Holy Name. Vestige of the British presence in Mumbai

After the breakfast, we will start exploring the mythological history of Nashik
Shree Laxmanji Temple
It will be the first temple of the day. Here we start the amazing adventure of Laxman, Ram and Sita who are one of the god and goddesses of Hinduism.
We will see the end of the story of Ramayana. This place is known as place of miracle.
We will come back in the center of Nashik to discover the heart of the Hindu spirituality. We will start by Naroshankar temple, one of the most beautiful temple of Nashik.
Kalaram Temple
The temple was funded by Sardar Rangarao Odhekar, and was built around 1788. It was said that Odhekar had a dream that the statue of Rama in black colour was in the Godavari River. Odhekar took the statue from river and built the temple. It's now on day, one of the most important temple of the city
Kalaram Temple
This is the last temple of the day. Famous for its intense activity, it's the perfect temple for understanding the Ramayana and a part of Hinduism.
Ramkund
We will finish the discovery of Hinduism by the main sacred place in Nashik. We will also talk about the funerals and its ceremony in Hinduism.

Ajanta Caves
A private AC vehicle will bring you to Ajanta caves. Ajanta caves is closed on Tuesday so we can change the order of visit depending on your dates. Ajanta caves is known for its painting and the nature around. It is one of marvelous man made art.

The car will bring you until the UNESCO world heritage site of Ellora, you can explore on your own and see the majestic Kailash temple resided in Ellora complex. We will give you some extra tips to visit this site.

We will visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Ellora. 32 caves from 3 religions. You will discover the biggest monolithic monument in the world. This is a unique monument which is no where possible to see. The stone, carving, different head gears of statues will just amaze you.

Khuldabad
Khuldabad was the capital of the Sufism in 14th century. A lot of great Sufi saints came for practice and teach Sufism in this village. It's still the second main place for the Sufism in India
Malik Ambar was a slave who became prime minister of the sultanate of Nizam. He created Aurangabad and he is known for his extreme religious tolerance.
Aurangzeb's Tomb
Aurangzeb was the last great Mughal emperor. His tomb is near his Sufi master. We will experience the Mughal emperor's last moments of the life.
Khuldabad
Visit to Burhanuddin Gharib Dargah. He was a Sufi saint. Many miracles from Khultabad are attributed to him

Daulatabad Fort
For understanding how a small village in middle of nowhere became the capital of Sufi, we must discover the history of Daulatabad fort.

5.00We planned our stay in Maharashtra with the help of Akvin tourism in advance from France. Vincent gave very good advice on the itinerary, transport times and visits to do. On site, Akash welcomed us perfectly in Aurangabad. We visited the Ajanta and Ellora caves with ultra-in-depth explanations from Vincent: a true professional guide! Historical, cultural, artistic and daily life information in India. We slept in a historic 18th century house in the small village of Anva. The welcome from the villagers was exceptional (invitation to have tea, visit a farm, see the making of chapati, etc.). This special moment close to the locals remains a very strong memory of our trip! We highly recommend the Akvin tourism agency: their availability, responsiveness, knowledge of India and very reasonable prices.
