Longshan Temple is a well known temple in Taiwan, which was built in 1738, and it was listed as Grade 2 historical site. At here, people can join different kinds of traditional activities in every year like the Lantern Festival (Feb.), Buddha's Birthday (Apr.), the Ullambana Festival (Jul.). Lungshan Temple was built in 1740, during Qing Dynasty. The doors, beams, and poles are beautifully decorated. Attracting visitors from around the world to experience its spiritual ambiance and historical resonance.
Bopiliao Ancient Street
[session at 10 a.m] At the Bopiliao Historic District, visitors can see well-preserved streets and traditional shop homes from the Qing period, as well as buildings from the Japanese occupation and early post-war periods. Visit herb lane before we visit Longshan Temple. At here, you can learn about the culture of herb medicine in Taiwan.
