We know what it's like to visit a new place (or return to an already-visited place). You want to see and experience as much as you can! We understand that. Our main goal with the Tour de Wilmington is to show you as much of Wilmington as possible. The areas that we travel through or have a brief stop in, are areas that you may not have discovered otherwise! Some of these are off the beaten path, some up-and-coming, but all are sure to impress.
Our tours are focused on mainly riding the e-bikes, showing you around the areas. Getting on and off e-bikes can be challenging for some, and for this reason, we specifically do not require attendees to dismount and re-mount their e-bikes several times throughout the tour (aka, a talking tour). We will have brief stops at a few places, but for the most part, you will get to really enjoy a beautiful e-bike ride!

Due to the high performance of our e-bikes, we have a weight limits for each. Maximum weight for the larger e-bikes is 260 lbs. and maximum weight for the smaller e-bikes ranges between 200 lbs. and 240 lbs.

Next stop? Nature. We’ll wind through the lush trails of Greenfield Lake Park, where wooden bridges, vibrant blooms, and mirror-like waters set the scene. Keep your eyes peeled... you might even spot a gator sunning itself by the shore. Midway through the journey, you’ll have option of taking a 15-minute break in Wilmington’s vibrant Soda Pop District, an eclectic enclave that invites you to stretch your legs, explore, and refuel, your way. Craving something sweet? Head to The Wandering Cone Creamery, where small-batch ice cream is made on-site and served without artificial flavors, dyes, or guilt. 5.00We had such a fun experience on the electric bike tour in Wilmington! From the moment we started, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and full of positive energy. One of the best parts was meeting new people along the way — everyone was friendly, and it made the ride even more enjoyable. Our guide was absolutely fantastic: knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about Wilmington. They shared so many interesting facts and hidden gems throughout the tour while making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. The stops along the way were perfect. We got to enjoy some of the best ice cream, which was such a fun treat during the ride, and we also stopped by a beautiful lake where we took gorgeous pictures and soaked in the scenery. Exploring Wilmington this way gave us a whole new appreciation for the city. The electric bikes made everything easy and enjoyable, even in the heat, and allowed us to see so much more than we would have on foot. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Wilmington or even locals looking for a fun adventure!

5.00This was a great ride! The e-bikes were very new and well maintained. The tour itself was fun, not too challenging (I’m 70+) and gave us a lovely view of some really beautiful parts of Wilmington. Highly recommended!

5.00Celebrating a 70th birthday and going on an e-bike historical tour of Wilmington was the perfect afternoon! Our Tour Guide, Jim was knowledgeable, interesting, bike savvy and kept a perfect pace! Our tour group was fun and made us first-timers feel like we safely fit in! Looking forward to our next e-bike experience.

5.00Jim kept us all safe through the busy streets of Wilmington. We had a beautiful day for it! My favorite was the Greenfield lake area. A couple things: we did not stop at the Soda Pop district, which we were looking forward to, and the guide, though an excellent historian, got a little too in depth and we were standing on this hot bridge for 20 minutes. As this was the last leg of the tour, people were hot, tired, and ready for a break. Please read the room. People were actually yawning. That being said, it was truly a wonderful experience and would highly recommend!

4.00The tour was very interesting. I have never ridden an E-Bike before so it was a learning experience for riding and sightseeing of Wilmington. The guide was very knowledgeable about everything Wilmington. The day was unusually hot so we stopped often to find shade. We were grateful for the water bottles he provided. Thank you, it was fun

5.00The 3-hour tour exceeded my expectation. Jim takes you all around the city and neighborhoods. Explains a lot of the history of Wilmington. Highly recommend this trip and Jim was very nice and knowledgeable as our tour guide.
