Our trips offers scenic views as it flows along the Northern border the along the edge of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. With just a short drive from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this trip provides an unforgettable experience and enjoyment for the whole family. Experience the river with NOC's trained guides who bring the trip to life with stories, knowledge of flora and fauna, and stops along the way for swimming and play along the Great Smoky Mountains.

Your Lower Pigeon River trip starts with a short orientation and safety video. You'll then get geared up and get on the river right at our outpost. Once on the river, you'll enjoy the mild rapids and beautiful mountain scenery and stop for a swim or two. At the end of the trip, you'll take short bus ride back to our outpost.

5.00Our guide was Paul & he was WONDERFUL!! We had THE.BEST.TIME!! He was great with our little one & made sure we got to do everything we wanted. I’ve gone on the Chattooga River with NOC before- they are VERY well trained & VERY safe & professional. I’d honestly be afraid to go with any other organization.

5.00It was very well organized. We went as a group and had different ages 6 up to 70’s. The teens loved it! Was long enough and we were never rushed. Thoroughly enjoyed the water and our guides all did really good! It was fun to have college age young women as guides and they worked hard. They include safety talk, then into the water. Worth every penny!

5.00Best first time experience I think I could of had. We did the upper falls trip which was perfect. Our guide Natalie was phenomenal as well as the people we were paired with. Will do again.

5.00We took the kids for their first rafting trip ever (ages 7,8 and 11) on the Lower Pigeon and had so much fun, we went straight to signing up for the Upper Pigeon! Well organised, great value, friendly and safe staff and so much fun! Highly recommend NOC!
