Custom tour designed for you and where your interests are. We are not on a schedule and can even adapt as we go depending upon what we find on your special day.
I am a local historian and naturalist who has lived in the area for over 50 years. I consider myself an interpreter of nature adding color to the already stunning beauty you'll see. We'll concentrate on the myriad wildlife, the diverse biology, and incredible geology of the Rockies. We'll also get insight into what it might have been like for early pioneers and lodge keepers as well as indigenous people like the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute.
My tours are completely flexible so if you want to hike for 3 or 4 miles, great! Or if you just want sit back and relax and enjoy the view that's fine too! Either way we'll stop often to photograph and talk about the amazing sights.

Best Three-Hour Morning Custom Personalized Private Tour: This tour begins with you and your party of up to 4 people being picked up at your lodging in Estes Park or at the Estes Park Visitor Center on 500 Big Thompson Ave. If you like we’ll make a few short stops to view historical sites and look for wildlife in the Estes Valley before heading into Rocky Mountain National Park. In winter our destination is Bear Lake for breathtaking snowy scenery or maybe a short snowshoe walk in the forest! In summer our destination is Trail Ridge Road the highest continuous road in the US. Both tours include plenty of stops for wildlife viewing, photography and a short hike as you and the time allow.

5.00Looking for something to do, so booked this trip the night before. Picked up at our hotel on time. Vehicle was roomy, quiet and clean. Guide, Bruce, was very knowledgeable. Took us around the park avoiding areas that another booked trip would take us. This was by far the best tours we had during our stay in Estes Park.

5.00Bruce was a wonderful guide. He was able to tailor our experience to what my husband and I wanted to get out of our time in RMNP. He knew all the best spots and he was fantastic at scoping out all of the wildlife for us. He did not give up hope in finding a moose and we saw one! It was a wonderful day. We would recommend this tour to anyone going to RMNP. It was the perfect way to see the park with someone who had so much knowledge. Thanks again Bruce!

5.00Bruce was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and a true historian of the area. We had a great time and learned so much about the environment, the animals, the rockies and Estes Park history. Would recommend booking him for any visit to Estes and/or Rocky Mountain National Park.
