When your cruise ship docks in Skagway, enjoy a shore excursion to see the best sights of the city and take in the views from the majestic White Pass Summit area. Following the Klondike Highway by mini-bus, you'll have the opportunity to photograph the Gold Rush Cemetery, Skagway Scenic Overlook and the "Welcome to Alaska" sign as well as other scenic stops along the highway portion. Our mini-buses are smaller than other similar tour options with average size of 24 passengers with a full tour. This allows greater interaction with your guide as well as number of photo stops we make. Our guides will take great photos of your groups for lasting memories!
All passengers must have a valid passport.

For non-US/Canadian citizens USA Visa may be required (no copies).
Children 15 or younger must bring a Passport (or if USA or Canadian citizen can bring an original/certified birth certificate-no copies). Children 16 and older and all adults must have a valid Passport.
Not scooter accessible. No battery operated equipment can be loaded onto buses. Collapsible wheelchairs or Walkers can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark. Passenger must be able to walk some and boarding bus requires a few steps. YOU MUST INFORM OPERATOR IF ARE BRINGING A COLLAPSIBLE WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER.
Pick up location: Look for a representative holding a FRONTIER EXCURSIONS sign. Please be 15 minutes early. Please bring your Passports. For Broadway and Ore dock, meet off the pier where the dock meets land just outside the security gate next to a large parking area. For the Railroad dock, there are two docking positions. For ships tendering to the small boat harbor, walk up the ramp after disembarking the tender and look to your left for Zone B meeting area. If you are taking a shuttle bus off the pier from your ship, once you get off the shuttle bus look to your right for Zone B. Zone B is near Skagway Fish Co.
At the time of booking, traveler must provide their cruise ship name. If not on a cruise ship please contact operator for meeting instructions.

We visited all the major scenic stops—Pitchfork Falls, Summit Lake, Tormented Valley, Bridal Veil Falls, Reid Falls, the Gold Rush Cemetery, and several lookouts—in about two hours. Andrew was knowledgeable, personable, and full of memorable local history and Gold Rush stories rather than just canned facts. The pacing was great, photo stops were well chosen, and the small group made the experience feel personal. Highly recommended if you want a scenic overview of Skagway with a guide who clearly knows and loves the area.

5.00We opted for this tour over the train for a few reasons including reviews, and it did not disappoint! Excellent small-group tour with Andrew in Skagway. We visited all the major scenic stops—Pitchfork Falls, Summit Lake, Tormented Valley, Bridal Veil Falls, Reid Falls, the Gold Rush Cemetery, and several lookouts—in about two hours. Wonderful Alternative to the Train

5.00I did the train several years ago, it was a great experience. But maybe you dont have the cost or prefer a smaller group. This excursion is a wonderful alternative. We also got to see the cemetery and town. I highly recommend it.

5.00This tour was awesome and chose this over the train as we were able to stop at many places where Mike our driver took any photos we wanted. He was awesome and gave a through history of Skagway as well as what it’s like living there now. He was very entertaining and an awesome guy. Highly recommend this tour!!!

5.00Booked through viator. Was looking for a lowkey nice scenery tour with photo opportunities and it had delivered! Our guide (forgot his name! 12:30 excursion- had a garden plot with his wife) was very knowledgeable about the areas! His humor was funny and he kept us entertained. Did a short hike to reed falls, an overview of all of Skagway, saw very beautiful mountain areas and wildlife! Will recommend this tour to others!

5.00We did the White pass summit with Brook. She was an excellent guide who was knowlegible about the area and who explained what it was like to live in Skagway throughout the year. We saw 2 bears and a porcupine. The trip was less than half the price of the rail trip organised by the cruise line and would seem to be far more exciting when we compared it to our fellow cruisers experience. Some people on the cruise seem to worry that the self organised trips may not get you back to the boat in time. This was never our concern since Frontier Excursions and Adventures have several vehicles available and the schedule allows prlenty of time to get back to the boat. We booked the trip fron the office in town. A very exciting experience.

5.00This was so much nicer than the train. We went to the Gold Rush cemetery and falls. We were able to stop multiple times and view the gorgeous landscapes. Our guide, Beverly, was knowledgeable and fun.
