Your knowledgeable guide takes you to Greyfriar's Kirkyard, home of the famous Greyfriar's Bobby – nice dog – who had cocked his leg where rotting corpses lay below and whose names were made famous in many novels and history books, sending chills down many a reader's spine.

Then on to the infamous and haunted Niddry Street underground vaults, most haunted place in Edinburgh and probably one of the scariest in the world! Once home to the destitute, prostitutes, criminals, witches and a hell-fire club, and is possessed by something evil that awaits you

Vaults are accessed via a 2ft stair with further average size stairs inside the vaults.

Filming or live streaming of the tour is strictly forbidden. You may be ejected from the tour.

Darren was our guide, he was amazing. Told the stories clearly and did it with a scare and a joke. Loved the way the tour went! Will do it again when we come again.

Horrible. My kids were really looking forward to this tour. The guide never showed up. Plus, when I tried to contact the company about the no-show, no one answered my repeated attempts via, text, WhatsApp, or email mail.

The tour was well organized and our guide, Darren was well spoken and clear. He had a great knowledge of the town, history and great stories. The walk was nice and everyone could stop to take pictures on the way. The dungeons were spectacular and great history about them. This was better than some silly ,so called, haunted stage with props. Much enjoyed with teen daughter.

This was a really neat experience. We had already done Mary King's Close which discusses the norm for those working and living in the closes, whereas the vaults were where destitute people lived in secret and darkness. The cemetery was a good visit with some dark history as well. Darren did a good job of sharing history and ghost stories without overselling any paranormal activity. I highly recommend this tour.
