We visit some of the most pristine and famous snorkel sites in the Key Largo Marine Sanctuary on our BRAND NEW 2022 45' snorkel boat and guarantee our captain & crew will make your Key Largo snorkel excursion safe and fun for the whole family. Our staff are highly trained dive professionals who love the ocean and are happy to assist with gear setup, snorkel site information and local area recommendations. Our dive & snorkel facility is only about an hour away from Miami, making it the closest dive shop to the mainland. Our average time to reach most of Key Largo's best reef sites including the famous Christ of the Abyss is just 20-25 minutes from our shop. Our dive shop, gift shop, bathrooms, showers, tiki and snorkel boats are all located on our property facing the ocean, so you waste 0 time after arriving at our dive and snorkel center before heading out to your reef snorkel adventure!

Make sure to be a “good” swimmer. This is defined as being able to swim in the ocean without assistance from others or flotation devices for extended periods/distance.

FULL FACE SNORKEL MASKS ARE NOT ALLOWED, Drones are not allowed, Sea Scooters are not allowed, weight belts are not allowed

The property and tour boats are non smoking areas.
Children under age of 5 years old not allowed on board boat as passengers or snorkelers due to insurance restrictions.

Welcome to the beautiful underwater world of Key Largo, Florida! We will take you to two gorgeous reef sites to snorkel and provide complimentary chip bags, soda, water, snorkeling equipment and reef safe sunscreen. - Prior to arrival: Complete your boat waivers, gather your swimsuit and towel, and get excited! - Arrival: Check-In begins at 8:15 AM, 11:15 AM, or 2:15 PM. Come say hi at our check-in boutique after parking - Boarding: Board the boat at 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM, or 2:30 PM. Settle in and get ready to enjoy some Caribbean AC - Enjoy a 20-25 minute boat ride out to your first site - Spend 45 minutes snorkeling one of our beautiful coral reefs - Travel to a new location - Hop in to explore a second site for 45 minutes - Sit back and relax as we take you back to the dock for your 11:15 AM, 2:15 PM, or 5:15 PM return time. - Get rinsed off in our freshwater showers and browse our brand new gift shop, or ask any of our Silent World Crew for restaurant recommendations! We hope to see you back soon. *You must be at least 5 years old, able to swim without assistance in water too deep to stand, and able to jump off the boat and come back up the swim ladder with minimal assistance.

4.00Staff at check in area and crew on boat were amazing! Very friendly. Boat is clean. Equipment is in good condition. Lots of snacks, soft drinks and water on board. If you read other reviews that say take dramamine, do it. Even if you're not prone to seasickness. I've snorkeled many times in many countries. But, always on a catamaran. Never from a flat bottom/pontoon type of boat. Night and day different experience. On a catamaran I've never seen anyone get sick and have never been sick myself. Neither has my husband. The trip started out well - no one was sick. However, as we were waiting by the ladder to get back into the boat after the 1st stop many of us started feeling seasick. Back on the boat the seasickness continued with multiple people throwing up off the side of the boat. One young boy managed to get it all down the side of the boat and on the deck. Gross! I felt so awful I didn't get off the boat at the 2nd stop. Also, getting on/off a catamaran there's a ladder in front where you walk down/up the ladder to get in/out of the water. On the Silent World boats the ladders are on the side. You go to the 1st step and jump 5-6' into the water while holding your mask. I didn't like that at all.

5.00just now New Learned about Christ Of The Abyss from a guidebook while planning a trip to the Florida Keys. Found Silent World online while researching snorkel excursions to see the statue. My wife and I chose the two reef trip, which was a three-hour excursion. Everything about Silent World and the tour itself was perfect. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, our Captain (Brad) and first mate (Michael) were informative and entertaining and made the entire experience feel comfortable and rewarding. My wife had never been snorkeling before and they made it easy for her to learn the basics. The two locations were mind-blowing. I cannot describe the feeling of seeing the statue of Christ in the water for the first time. We are Catholic and seeing this image of Our Lord in this setting, surrounded by all of the underwater life was a very moving experience for us. We even swam with a shark! Which wasn't scary at all due to Captain Brad's thorough explanation of shark behavior. The boat ride was pleasant, all equipment needed was provided (including snacks!), and the time in the water was more than enough to make memories that will last a lifetime. And we even saw a Manatee back at the dock who swam up to enjoy the fresh water while Captain Brad rinsed the boat. We would happily return to Silent World on future trips to the Keys, and will recommend them to friends as well!

5.00I’m so glad we chose Silent World to go snorkeling. We had a group of fifteen, and they took such great care of us. Aaron and Joleesa made sure we knew just where to swim, that everything was safe, and even kept us fed! And don’t get me started on the dad jokes…🤣 I didn’t take any pics, so hopefully my friends also give a review and add some; but we absolutely had a fantastic time! The Christ of the Abyss was SO FREAKING AWESOME, too! Thanks, guys, for a memorable trip!

5.00The whole trip was great. The land crew and on the boat- Jeff and Jolisa- were very informative and helpful! Check in was easy and you can rent a Go Pro. Boat was comfortable with water available. They get you right to the reef and then very close to Christ of the Abyss. They know the tricks to keep you comfortable- how to prevent mask fogging, how to prevent GoPro fogging etc! They even have pool noodles available :) You can’t go wrong snorkeling with them!

5.00Went on Calypso on Friday June 19th with Jeff and Jocelyn (not sure on the correct spelling, hopefully?). Great experience, saw countless colorful reef fish, a ray and barracudas on the reefs even. We also loved the jokes :)

5.00Jeff and Jolisa were amazing guides, getting to the best snorkeling spots to see the Christ of the Abyss and then to a quiet spot with great underwater views and a lot of fish.
