Great for families and apprehensive first timers! Explore the beautiful beginner section, starting with Chicago Creek (where gold was first discovered!), following with fun Class 2 & 3 rapids such as Dizzy Lizzy and Castle Falls. Pass by the stunning Charlie Taylor Water Wheel and learn about the historic Argo Gold Mine. Finish with a splash at our class 3 rapid, Mister Twister!

5.00We had a wonderful experience for our first time rafting. Our group of 4 had helpful instructions and enjoyed chatting with our guide, Hank. He helped us feel at ease and ready to try an intermediate rapid. We can't wait to go again!

5.00My family of five went on the beginner trip on Clear Creek! The entire process was very organized and all equipment was clean and in good condition! The trip was timely and our guide, Angie, made it a very fun and memorable day for our family!

5.00Liquid Descent provided the best first time rafting experience to me and my daughter. Our guide, Scar was very professional, knowledgeable and funny. You can’t ho wrong with Liquid Descent if you want to raft in Clear Creek.

5.00LiquidDescent whitewater rafting was such a good time. My 11yr old loved it, and even my grumpy 14 yr old teenager going into high school smiled the whole time. Our guide Yoshi did some cool unique things with the raft and it was exciting for our family the whole way. Our favorite parts were “surfing the wave”, the “mountain lion” rapids, and watching my children try out being raft guides. They also took amazing photos just as we went through some big rapids. Even though the water was low this year, we still had a blast. I definitely recommend this in all respects.
