3.00Hop on hop off buses are really popular and a great way to see the city. In New York they are sold aggressively on every street corner with each seller offering a better deal. This leads to a saturated market that the company cannot cope with. The buses get packed and the traffic means they do not run to time. Stops at lower Manhattan are busy and the bus is usually too full to pick up leaving people stranded. By all means do the tour on one day don’t pay for three days use the subway instead

1.00I wasn’t able to ride the Big Bus because they canceled services in NYC because of the Knicks winning the championship. Because Big Bus didn’t sell me the tickets, they can’t give me a refund. I can’t reach anyone at Viator to ask for a refund because I activated my ticket before I knew the service was down. I’m going to have to file a dispute with my credit card company. This is a big inconvenience that I can’t send an email to Viator but I can only write them a snail mail letter to request a refund. What a mess.

1.00Big Bus did not accept the purchase thru Avitor. They only accepted the purchase thru Big Bus. I had to repurchase thru Big Bus. Avitor refused to reimburse me. I strongly recommend not to purchase this tour package thru Avitor

5.00I would tell them to be patient as there is plenty of traffic and also be prepared for numerous stops.
Save your money…terrible experience. Drivers and narrators don’t care.

1.00I would tell them not to waste the money unless they knew for sure nothing big was going on in NYC. I was there during the Knicks riots, the World Cup and the porto rican parade. Buses not being able to get through traffic so the bus we were on just stopped and didn’t go any further. We had to walk many blocks only to find the same thing. I reserved these tickets days in advance and should have been told that there would be delays because of this and maybe I would not have done it. Never did get to see the sights on the bus. I should get a refund of my money…this was ridiculous.

4.00We did the bus tour which was really good.however a member of staff selling these tours was extremely aggressive to me to the point I would have reported him to the police if one was near buy. The driver of the bus tour was good. I would recommend but to be cautious of getting tickets from the sellers in time square.
Avoid this tour during the rain.

3.00It was raining the day we went. Highly suggest don't take this trip in the rain. One bus was leaking very badly and we had to switch buses. I booked this bus for a full day and ended up only using it for one round-trip ride. The rain made it undesirable to hop on/hop off. I wish I had purchased for the north loop and also the south loop instead of just one of the loops. If there was a live narrator option I would prefer that over this recorded narration. Good luck.

4.00Two Tours for New York: Uptown and Downtown, you should do both. A big thank you to the friendly AMINA who advised us well on the options, even though the approach of the touts was a bit pushy. However, regarding the drivers, good point for the women who drove during the day, but a very bad experience with the driver for the night tour: very rough driving, several red lights run…
