Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!

First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!

You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.

After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.

Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Juan and Amber are wonderful hosts! This is an interactive, hands on cooking class. Beautifully pared wines with so much food between the main course of Paella! Juan is a knowledgeable and well spoken instructor who leaves you feeling confident to go home and cook for yourself. I highly recommend.

Our chef Daniel was skilled and funny. Dientje was delightful, sharing her knowledge of the delicious wines. The walk through Valencia to the market was so interesting. The class was in a commercial kitchen space and the dining experience was relaxed and fun. Thankyou Daniel for sharing your passion for all things Valencia. We learnt so much and had the best experience.

Fabulous and fun experience. Our paella was so good! Thank you to chef Victor and Luna who made the evening fun and entertaining. This class was incredible from start to finish!

Really enjoyed the combination of history tour, market shopping, wine tasting and paella cooking class. Daniel was an excellent fully inclusive host with good knowledge, humour and great communication. A thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended experience.

A lot of walking to the market and then back to class. Market was interesting and we bought supplies for class fresh . Megan the teacher was delightful. We were offered numerous different drinks during the class and some yummy appetizers. We sat down at end and ate what we had cooked. It was delicious. Would recommend this class!

Absolutely awesome experience. If you have any time in València I would 100% recommend giving this experience a go. We met so many awesome people from different places in the world, and the wine and cava were exceptional. Juan and Mimi were amazing hosts and really knew how to set the vibe.

I went on my birthday with my husband and my cousin, in February, and it was the best experience ever!! I recommend to everyone. It was super fun, loads of wine and the best paella we have ever tried. The venue is beautiful and all the food & wine as top quality. Before cooking you also get to know about the city history and visit some iconic places. Reyes was absolutely great! Next time in Valencia we will go again ⭐️
