RMA is electric! Take off right from our shop to cruise the easygoing Roanoke River Greenway on one of our awesome e-bikes from Velotric, Marin, Rad or State! Helmets are required and are included in the rental at no additional charge. Must be 18 years old or have a driver's liscense. Our Velotric T1, Marin Sausalitos & E-Stinsons are what we recommend for people looking for a fitness bike for the greenway. We typically use our Velotric Go & Rad Runner2s for our tours as they are class 2 and flatten the hills. Our staff will go over all the e-bike features to get you rolling, but if you can ride a bike you can ride an e-bike!

RMA is well-situated on the Roanoke Greenway. We visited from out of town and had a great experience with our 2 hour bike rental. Bikes were reasonably priced and clearly well-maintained. Staff were knowledgeable and very helpful in plotting where we could go—we even got recommendations for ice cream along the trail. Booking was a breeze online and we were even able to pick out the bike models we wanted. Overall, we had a great time and would love to do it again.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Bikes were in great working condition. Helmets were like new. Great location right by the trail. Restaurants close by as well. Highly recommend!

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We rode E-Bikes for the first time and the bikes were awesome and it’s a plus to have the greenway trail right there.

Great selection of bikes to rent. They helped another biker as she approached off trail. They had an amazing supply of used gear which is what we needed also. We bought trail shoes and some Patagonia shirts. All the staff was super helpful!!

easy check-in and fun greenway ride on well-maintained bikes. the only negative was really uncomfortable bike seats.

The Greenway was beautiful and getting around on e-bikes was the way to go! RMA did a great job getting us prepared for our trip, both by familiarizing is with our bikes and the path network. RMA's stable of bikes had a great variety suitable for all ages and experience levels.
