4.00Easy drive from Williamsburg. We traveled to the island and enjoyed the scenery and stopped at the visitor center for booklets and maps of historic jamestowne. We returned to the settlement and bought tickets. Watched the 20 minute film about Jamestown to start and then ventured outside to see the replica buildings and settlements. There are costumed actors that are knowledgeable and want to share the history. We loved the Powhatan village and being able to compare to the settlers homes. The museum and dioramas in the building were informational and informative
Great experience and a wonderful reminder of our history lessons.

5.00The park was very clean and full of friendly interpreters to explain the exhibits and how life was back then. All of the interpreters were in period costume so it made the experience much more meaningful. We really did enjoy our time there. I would recommend this to anyone.

5.00Enjoyed the Jamestown Settlement Museum, musket demonstration and going aboard the ships. An employee at Historic Jamestown suggested the cafeteria when we got to the Settlement Museum as an alternative to eating a picnic lunch on the grounds due to rain. They offered many choices and was good food at a reasonable price. We were only in the area for 2 days and 1 was dedicated to Colonial Williamsburg so we didn't get to see the American Revolution Museum

5.00We learned so much at Jamestown Settlement. It was cool to step on the ship replicas. The museum was full of information! The food was good ANS it wasn’t expensive. If you haven’t been, it is worth the trip!

5.00We spent all of the morning, and a fair amount of the afternoon at the Jamestown Settlement. The interactive museum was fun as well as informative. The outdoor exhibits were a hands on glimpse of the life of the first settlers. What an uncomfortable life that must have been! The experience was worth every penny.
