Glimpse Maui's stunning landscape from what seems like the top of the world. Stop for a curated lunch at Hali’imaile General Store, to savor the flavors of Maui. Enjoy a tour at Hali’imaile Distillery. NOTE: Guests under 21 must wait outside during tastings (15–20 minutes), and a valid photo ID is required. Marvel at the towering Iao Needle and stroll through the verdant Iao Valley.

Haleakala is known for rapidly changing weather conditions and dense clouds and rain are common. As a result, clear viewing of the sunrise is not guaranteed, and the tour operates rain or shine. Refunds will be granted only when the tour is cancelled for safety reasons.
The high altitude at the summit area may complicate health conditions and breathing difficulties. Elderly visitors, pregnant women, young children, and those with respiratory or heart conditions should consult their doctor prior to touring. Walk slowly and drink water to avoid dehydration. If you have gone scuba diving, you should wait at least 72 hours before going on this tour.

5.00Took the tour on 5/29/26. This was an interisland booking. Left (via car rental) the Disney Aulani Hotel in Ko Alina at 3:45 AM to be sure to make the 5:50 AM Southwest Airlines flight. Be sure to park in Terminal 2 Parking if you have to check into the Southwest Kiosk for your tickets. Arrived and picked up by tour operator with no delays. The black tour vehicle looked new and was very clean inside. Cookies and water were available during the tour. The tour operator talked a lot about Maui (points of interest, culture and history). Hiakalea was fantastic and you had the option of walking up to the Summit, where the photo ops were perfect. The food at the General Store was delicious and quickly served. The distillery tour was very enjoyable with many different tastings. Came back in plenty of time to make the 7 PM flight back to Oahu. My family of 4 definitely thought the tour was worth the money.

5.00Our tour guide, Alberto (aka Al Pachino), was superb. Very knowledgeable and personable. This really was a comprehensive tour, taking us to the top of Haleakala, then to see the Finger of God, and experience a delicious tasting at Haliimaile Pineapple Distillery. A nice lunch was also included at the restaurant near the distillery. All in all, it was a great way to spend the day.

3.00Was expecting more. I realize this was a crater tour, but thought there would be more along the way. Gabriel tried to make the tour interesting, but there was not a lot to work with.

It was amazing and super super cold for sure bundle up but make it possible to where you can take off clothing.

5.00Driving was cool Preston did what he was suppose to do and than some. The sights were amazing view was to die for. The food was great again Preston made it to where he made it way easier and better for the food service to do there job as well.

5.00Best trip ever, I highly recommend 10/10. You can do a cruise to Hawaii, visit the islands then finish off in Kahului. Make sure you visit the Maui Ocean Center.

5.00Alfredo our tour guide was informative and professional! His knowledge of the island was extensive and impressive! The tour was so much fun. Haleakala was massive, spiritual and very chilly. Definitely dress in layers. Lunch at Hailiimaile General Store was fantastic! We were hungry and ready to eat. The portions were generous, the service was prompt, and the food was onolicious! The distillery was a great after lunch activity and super informative. This was a wonderful land tour for everyone to enjoy!
