Lingaraja Temple
Lingaraj temple is the most famous temple of Bhubaneshwar. Built in Kalinga style and made of sandstone and laterite, it is dedicated to Harihara, a combined form of Vishnu and Shiva. The temple was built in 11th century CE by King Yayati Keshari of Somavanshi dynasty.
Rajarani Temple
Raja Rani temple is a temple constructed in the 11th century from reddish and yellow sandstone. This material was called Rajarani in the local dialect and hence the temple got its name. The temple is famous for its unique sculptures of women. Women are in poses performing Odissi the traditional dance form as well as in every day life moments

5.00The 5senses support team was amazing - organised the trip at the very last minute. Surya our guide was punctual and well informed . He took us to the temples which were possible for us to see and was very knowledgable, pointing out many interesting carvings and other architectural details. He made Udayagori a fantastic experience as he told us fascinating details of each cave.

5.00This was an amazing tour. Sarad was an extremely knowledgeable and gifted guide. Explained alot of the architecture, history and dynasties of the Kalinga kingdom. And the temples were simply breathtaking. Would do this tour again if I could, there is so much to see!

5.00Visiting the dance studio, learning about classical Indian dance, and watching the dancers was the highlight of our trip to India thus far. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who is into the arts or dance.
