Stroll leisurely through the forest of Denali National Park. As you walk, listen to your guide talk about the plants, animals, ecology, geology, and more that make Denali unique. Taste the bounty of edible berries that pepper Denali's forests.
Your guide is a true expert. Not a mid-rate guide who knows a few fun facts. They're a Naturalist who's prepared to answer any question you throw at them. They're ready for wildlife encounters with bear spray and good training. They have a Wilderness First Responder certification, making them better prepared than an EMT for an emergency in the backcountry. See? I told you they were an expert.
This is your chance to experience Alaska up close and personal. Your chance to feel the peat moss that so few do. Taste the elusive and legendary cloudberries. This is more than a walk. It's an all expenses paid teleportation into the inner workings of Denali National Park.
OH! And we donate 5% to conservation. You're helping Denali by taking this tour!

We did a couple hour nature hike with Beth. She was very knowledgeable in all things Denali, we left with an education. She was prepared with snacks, water, hiking poles. Beautiful day for hike. Company provided free shuttle from hotel. We had an enjoyable hike.

Don was worth every penny! He is very knowledgeable about the park history, the animals, and flora and fauna of the Alaskan forest. He answered all of our questions and then some. He took his job seriously regarding our safety, but we felt he was open to explored as much as the group. It was delightful to be with someone who is passionate about their job and sharing this experience with us. Most of us were strangers, but by the end we were a of learners. Thank you, Don!

We only had a few days in the area, and we wanted to have an overview of the park with a guide. Jade did a great job of highlighting the climate/weather, plants, survival skills, and animal activity. We could have done the same walk ourselves but would have missed a hundred interesting details that he pointed out, from squirrel nests to tiny edible plants. It was also helpful to have the tour include rain gear, water, snacks, and bug repellent. Also while there were lots of people around the visitor center, we definitely felt safer with a guide. It was super convenient to be picked up at our hotel. Communication was great. We definitely recommend.

Today’s Naturalist Walking Tour in Denali National Park with our guide, Don, was outstanding. His knowledge of plants and wildlife was extensive, the pace was good, and he was kind and witty. Plus, we met wonderful like-minded people and had fun conversations. Highly recommended!

If you're interested in learning about the flora and fauna of Denali, this walk is a must. Our guide Derek was exceptional. We learned about the trees and plants in the region, the habits of moose and bears, Mount Denali, and so much more - highly recommend.

What a great nature hike. Beth was wonderful and showed us all the local flora and fauna that we’ve been seeing in our Alaska adventure. Wonderful morning

Don was our tour guide; he was super chill, prepared with everything we would possibly need, and welcoming to everyone in our group. I came away with greater appreciation for and knowledge of plants; how cool to learn how plants defend themselves like the willow producing tannins after the moose munches for a while! I had never seen fully grown woodpeckers feeding their offspring, and we may have missed this completely without Don, who knew exactly where they were. If we took that walk without a guide it would have just been a nice walk in the woods that could have happened anywhere; a guided tour with Don made all the difference.

Don was fantastic: extremely well informed, engaging, easy going. I learned a lot about the flora, fauna and wildlife in and around Denali. The highlight was watching an American three-toed woodpecker chick being fed by the male and female adult birds… super cool!!! I would recommend this excursion!!
