  We recently completed an 8-day family trip across Sri Lanka organized by *Ceylon Escapes* and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The planning process was smooth and seamless, with prompt communication, flexible payment options, competitive pricing, and professional service throughout. Everything was well organized, allowing us to enjoy the trip without worrying about logistics. A special mention to our guide and driver, *Wijaya*, who was outstanding. He was always punctual, cheerful, and positive, making every day enjoyable. Traveling with children can be challenging, but he was incredibly patient and accommodating with the kids, which we greatly appreciated. His local recommendations for sightseeing, food, and activities were excellent, and he was always flexible in adjusting plans based on our preferences and pace. Thanks to CeylonEscapes and Wijaya, our family had a memorable and stress-free holiday. We would happily recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  We have made a wonderful trip through Sri Lanka. With Anjana as driver, but more importantly as guide, this trip has become even more enjoyable than expected. Anjana has not only brought us safely from location to location, but he has also given us good tips and in consultation to places outside the tourist spots. Because of this we have certainly seen parts of the real Sri Lanka. • Fun Filled 6 Day Trip from Hiriketiya to Negombo

  We received clear and prompt communication with Ayanthi, Dirk and the Ceylon Escapes team from the very first contact. They were very helpful in providing the best way to see Sri Lanka in our timeframe. Our driver for our customised trip, Geethanga was great, he collected us in Hiriketiya and we spent the next 6 days in his safe and capable hands, he always was prompt when meeting us and always kept in contact. He was a very careful and confident driver in the mayhem of Sri Lankan traffic, his car was very clean, comfortable and there was always a fresh bottle of water at the ready. There was the odd hiccup with language in conversation but we managed through this with a laugh and good humour. Geethanga helped to arrange activities along the way through his established contacts, and found every one of them knowledgeable and reasonably priced.   We can highly recommend Ceylon Escapes! The entire trip went smoothly and exactly as planned – from booking to the very last leg of the journey. Booking directly with the company was straightforward – no unnecessary hassle, everything was quick and transparent. A special mention goes to our tour guide Manjula: He was a safe and confident driver, which made the whole trip very relaxing for us. He was always punctual and reliable, his vehicle was clean and well-maintained at all times, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. What impressed us most: Manjula brought his own ideas on which sights and activities were worth seeing, and helped us organise them at short notice – that truly enriched our trip. Anyone looking for a stress-free, well-organised journey is in the best hands with Ceylon Escapes.

• First visit to Sri Lanka with a Driver Guide

  Our first visit to Sri Lanka and we arranged a Driver Guide through Ceylon Escapes. We were lucky enough to have Tissa to look after us for 10 days. He was knowledgeable about all the places we visited and had everything arranged in advance where necessary to ensure a visit went smoothly. His timing is impeccable and we felt in a safe, friendly, capable and very kind pair of hands. He was flexible to our requests and also made some great suggestions for us. We have had the best experience and loved Sri Lanka. My only feedback to Ceylon Escapes would be to advise us when booking the Driver that they can arrange all experiences for us. We had pre booked two safaris ourselves directly through our accommodation, and we would have preferred Tissa to have sorted these for us as everything he arranged for us was perfect.

  We had a wonderful trip with Samantha, he was very helpful and punctual with great communication. He was always keen to be as helpful as possible and was always available whenever we needed him. His car was comfortable and clean and he always had fresh bottled water waiting for us. In a country where there is some crazy driving, we felt safe in the car with Samantha with his careful driving. He also provided some tips and insight into the country as we drove along. We would highly recommend him to friends thinking about going to Sri Lanka. We hope to go again and re-book him for the visit of course!

  We had an amazing 10 days driving through Sri Lanka with our fantastic driver Harsha. It was an exceptional experience, that I would highly recommend to anyone. • Sri Lanka Driver Tour -Ceylon Escapes

  We had an amazing 10 days with Harsha. From the moment he collected us at the airport until the dropping us at our final destination. Harsha made our trip stress free and enjoyable. We did not have to worry about transport or even buying tickets for experiences/excursions. We had an air conditioned van and wifi onboard. Cooler was always stocked with bottled water. Harsha is very patient and extremely understanding. Throughout the holiday we had a variety of Sri Lankan cultural insights. We attended a night of traditional Kandyan Dancing, a village tour including lunch and traditional Sri Lankan food. We visited several Buddhist temples the The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy. The list goes on...every day there was something of interest for us to explore and enjoy! Harsha is very patient and has excellent English and communication skills. Would highly recommend!
