We are unique as we are the oldest tour company on the historic island of Nantucket. From the early days when Chester Barrett founded the company and drove a horse and buggy, to today, we are ready to give you a great truthful and historical view of Nantucket. You will see a narrated tour where we show you old lighthouses, the village of Siasconset on the East end of the island, rose cover cottages, as well as the old railroad and either the oldest or 2nd oldest house on island. You will really enjoy seeing the island from this perspective. The 1.5 hour time is just enough time to see the sights and plan where to spend the rest of your visit on island.
We can also do private and large group tours, inquire by calling.

Built in 1881, the line closed in 1917. It brought travelers to the Surfside and Siasconset.
Nantucket Founders Burial Ground
Nantucket was founded by Quakers and we will pass by the Quaker burial ground, a cemetery mostly without tombstones of the unmarked graves of the many island Quakers

1.00Ok you are on Nantucket. The bus wanders around for an hour or so and there is nothing to go see or look at. Nantucket isn't that interesting. A little town centre and bragging rights that you have been - get back on the ferry. The guide tried but when you are highlighting nothing thats a really tough ask.

5.00We had a fantastic private tour of Nantucket with Jason! Our group of seven friends had an amazing time from start to finish. Jason picked us up in a spotless, spacious Mercedes van that was extremely comfortable and perfect for our group. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable about Nantucket's history and culture, but what truly made the tour special was his flexibility and ability to tailor the experience to our interests. He took us beyond the typical tourist stops and introduced us to some wonderful off-the-beaten-path locations that we never would have discovered on our own. He is an excellent driver, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the island's beauty, and his entertaining stories and great sense of humor kept everyone engaged and laughing throughout the day. If you're looking for a personalized, fun, and informative way to experience Nantucket, we highly recommend booking a private tour with Jason. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00This was primarily a driving tour of the island with one stop. Plenty of history and sites but not really an in-depth tour. If you want deep history, this may not be it.

5.00We had an amazing time on this tour Our tour guide Jason was so fun and knowledgeable! Lots of laughs, very positive experience! We have stopped several times, were able to take pictures, Jason also gladly took pictures of us and other families. Was nice to see histrionic parts of Nantucket!

1.00It was terrible until the last 25%. New tour guide. Obviously did not know the area or route. Talking and driving were not compatible. Was late to share and often the facts were wrong. Was with an experienced guide who took over for the final 25%. I understand that people have to train, but we should not have to pay for their training. A rebate should be offered.
