Had a wonderful 2nd time with Experience Scotland’s Wild! Last year, I did their 3 day tour to Skye in early May and had the best time. Our last guide recommended their 5 day tour to Lewis & Harris, so I was very much looking forward to this year’s trip. Our group ended up being only 4 people - my friend and I with an older couple. We had the lovely experience of being paired with Rachel as our guide, who was super friendly and knowledgeable. Rachel went out of her way to tweak our touring schedule to make sure each location was as empty as possible from other tour groups, which made a major difference and helped prevent having to fight the larger tour groups of 40+ people for pictures or space to enjoy the location. The white sand beaches were breathtaking and the views were incredible all tour long. I did skip the whiskey experience and Rachel was kind enough to drive me to a nearby waterfall, which was a wonderful one on one experience between her and I. I enjoyed this tour so much and cemented Experience Scotland’s Wild as my favorite way to visit Scotland. A major thank you to Rachel for being so amazing and giving us such a memorable trip!!

Oh my goodness, the 5-day Outer Hebrides tour to Lewis and Harris with Experience Scotland Wild was just incredible! Seriously, the scenery was out of this world, and I felt like I really got to soak up the culture. The group was so small, only eight of us, which made it feel like a special trip with pals. We were all strangers at the start, but honestly, after just a day, it felt like we were one big family! And our guide, Richie – what a legend! He was so kind, thoughtful, and funny, and he totally brought the islands to life for us with his stories. From the ancient Callanish Stones to the gorgeous beaches of Harris, he knew absolutely everything. It was like having a walking encyclopedia of Scottish history with us! He had so many fascinating tales about the clans, the battles, and the land itself. Plus, he kept us laughing with his personal stories and jokes – never a dull moment! The pace of the tour was spot on, and I really felt a connection to the islands. The thoughtfully planned itinerary provided an ideal pace for immersion in the islands unique character. Honestly, those five days just whizzed by. I also have to give a shout-out to Sarah Pollock and Jessica Cuthbert, the travel coordinators. The seamless organization and support provided by them were commendable, with their prompt and professional responsiveness to all inquiries. Top-notch support! I'm already dreaming about my next adventure with Experience Scotland Wild. Hey, a little suggestion for the team – I'd absolutely love to visit the Isle of Mull and Iona, especially when the adorable puffins are around! It would be amazing if you guys could plan a tour there sometime. 😊 Seriously, if anyone looking for a real and heartwarming Scottish experience, you HAVE to book a tour with Experience Scotland Wild! I give the whole team a massive five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🙌

It's my first time on Isle of Lewis and I don't think visit here is worthy. Lewis is castle is basically empty. There is empty ballroom for hire, empty hall for hire and empty library. The attached museum main purpose is to sell you souvenirs. The standing stones attraction make me think that someone dug stones in the ground to make attraction site. Not a single post how, when and why it was build. Entire walk area - very much like entire island - is swamp like. Also in my two encounter with locals made me prefer I haven'tet them at all. Island and locals are something I will not miss and I don't recommend visiting

This tour may be one of my favourite travel experiences ever. Our tour guide Derek was absolutely fantastic - any questions about Scotland's nature or culture, he knows the answer to all of them, and he has a phenomenal playlist to set the mood for a five day adventure. We were able to see so many places and learn more about them that we never would have known without doing a guided tour. Our journey to the island was delayed by a few hours (our ferry was cancelled due to weather conditions) and we still managed to see some truly magnificent spots and enjoy ourselves frolicking around the Highlands for a few hours more than planned. x The small group setting (there were 6 of us plus our guide) is brilliant; this way, everyone has the chance to get a deeper understanding and appreciation for what Scotland has to offer. If you like guided tours, but don't want to feel super touristy by driving around in a huge bus and being spat out at *insert generic destination*, a tour like this will make you feel like you've booked a private tour with a few friends. If you like remote places, walks in stunning scenery and shouting "there's a rainbow!" about every fifteen minutes, I cannot recommend this tour and this company enough. The only time I didn't enjoy myself was during the last few hours of the tour, because I didn't want it to end. I truly had the best time.

I had a great time on the Lewis and Harris tour with Owen! He is an amazing guide and made sure everyone was comfortable with the daily itinerary. He is extremely passionate about history and had us entertained with a lot of great historical facts and folklore. The tour is a mix of easy to moderate walks and I did not feel rushed at any point. I thought this was an easy and relaxed way of exploring Scottish Islands which can sometimes be difficult to navigate via public transport. I wish it was a longer tour and we spent more time on the Islands :)

An amazing experience, the tour was led by Andrew and Richie, a pair of professional, and most knowledgeable guides. Weather was excellent, the sites visited just have to be experienced and the Isles of Harris and Lewis especially provided a very satisfing mix of fantastic scenery and unique historic sites.
