5.00It’s a brilliant trip. Beautiful scenery and amazing to be up in the clouds and see the tea plantations. The jeep drivers and very skilled and careful - but it is a bumpy ride . The guide was excellent- Sajou - friendly , personable, patient and knowledgeable. We walked about thirty mins to the top rather than taking the jeep - wasn’t aware in advance there are tiny leeches on the ground. Our guide had some salt he gave us in advance to detract them but still , was a bit freaky for me. My niece got bitten on her ankle. So I would say bring long trousers and proper walking boots. I was told when I asked the organiser that shorts would be fine - they definitely would not be (and not what we chose to wear in the end - it also gets a bit chilly up there). So more guidance on clothing and footwear necessary. But fab tour.
