  The Blue Ridge Food Tour exceeded my expectations! The stops and food were all so good and Mya our tour guide did an amazing job sharing local history. I learned so much! I have lived in the area for 6 years and learned so many interesting facts that I never knew! Each stop was yummy and well thought out, great portions- you will not leave hungry!   If you’re even thinking about doing a food tour in Boone—stop scrolling and book with Mya immediately. Seriously. This was hands-down one of the best experiences Chris and I have had while traveling. First of all, Mya went above and beyond before we even arrived. I reached out on a Friday thinking everything was booked, and she personally made room for us on Sunday. What we didn’t expect? A completely private tour—just the two of us with Mya. That alone would’ve been enough to impress us, but she didn’t stop there. From the moment we met her, it was clear how intentional and professional she is. She greeted us with water, came fully prepared, and made us feel taken care of from the start. Throughout the tour, she struck the perfect balance of being warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. The food? Incredible. We started at Betty’s Biscuits (don’t skip this—trust me), and every stop after that was just as thoughtfully chosen. These weren’t places we would have found on our own, and each one had its own story, personality, and standout dishes. The pizza alone was unforgettable. But what truly sets Mya apart is the experience she’s built—not just the food. At every stop, the restaurant owners came out to greet her like an old friend. You could feel the respect and genuine relationships she’s built around town, which says a lot. They didn’t just serve us—they shared their stories, their passion, and what makes their place special. It turned a food tour into something much more meaningful. And let me just say this—seeing someone so young create that level of connection, professionalism, and community presence? It’s impressive. Really impressive. Mya didn’t just show us where to eat—she gave us a true feel for Boone: its history, its people, and its culture. By the end, it felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed into a community. If you want a unique, personal, and genuinely memorable experience, book this tour. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Mya—thank you for such an incredible day. You absolutely crushed it.

  Our first food tour, and it was FANTASTIC!!! Mya is a friendly, personable tour guide, and has a great sense of humor. On the food front, the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese, bacon jam, and sweet peppers was unbelievably delicious!! Also, the brisket sandwiches with eggplant fries were phenomenal. We were stuffed by the end of the tour. We had the "Sips" package, and enjoyed the beers and drinks as well. Worth every penny, and would be awesome to do with a group of friends.

  We have done a lot of different food tours in a lot of different locations over the years, but I have to say that Blue Ridge Food Tours is among the best. You can tell that the food they present is high quality. They aren't trying to cut corners with cheap food... they're serving the best. In addition to the great food, we learned so much history about Boone and the surrounding area. Our guide was professional, engaging, and kept things running smoothly. We also really enjoyed getting to meet the chefs at several locations. You can see the passion they have for what they do. Our group agreed that after experiencing the Downtown Boone food tour, we definitely want to book the Downtown North Wilkesboro food tour by Blue Ridge Food Tours in the future.   We had great food at multiple stops. Great time for our family. We always love doing food tours, and this was one of our favorites. Mya gave us a great experience. Love the fried green tomato at Betty's biscuit. Definitely recommend, and would try again.
