This was the best moment of our cruise. Absolutely fantastic!! The price was worth it 100%. The views were amazing and the hike and bike were easy for 10-45 year olds and slightly challenging for older people. We saw a bear!!! So fun bucket list for sure. Our guide was an 80 year old man, Bob. He was very intelligent and strong he rowed us (group of 10) all by him self. Crazy!!! It was about 5 and a half hours of absolute amazement.

Danny Brady was an exceptional tour guide in every respect. A local resident with deep, multi-generational roots in Skagway, he combines a genuine passion for the area with encyclopedic knowledge of its history, geology, flora, and fauna. He was an absolute pleasure to hike and raft with. The trail itself is moderately challenging, featuring a fairly steep climb and descent on stone steps, but our group—ranging in age from 13 to 73—completed it without much difficulty. Along the way, we were treated to breathtaking scenery and several bald eagle sightings, both on the hike and during the river float. To top it all off, Nicole and Erin were fantastic, making sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the experience. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip.

A beautiful hike with many stairs to climb the first quarter mile. The float going back was super fun too. Run is an excellent guide.

Very good challenging hike along an up and down narrow trail. Bob gave very good information about the trees, rocks and how the roots grow. The raft was swift and Bob handled that very well.

We had a great time with Owen! He has a vast knowledge about the area and the forest ecosystem. He was able to share a lot you wouldn’t learn if you tried the hike on your own. The float was a peaceful way to wrap up the experience! Not a terribly difficult hike but they have alternative options for those who can’t do hills.

We had an amazing experience with Owen as our tour guide. He was extremely informative, punctual, and very patient throughout the entire trip. Our group consisted of 11 people from three different parties, including some seniors who found parts of the hike a bit challenging. Owen made sure everyone felt supported and comfortable, and thanks to his encouragement and pace, we all made it successfully. During the hike, Owen shared interesting facts and information that made the journey even more enjoyable. His knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the experience. The highlight of the tour was definitely floating down the river at the end of the hike. It was incredibly relaxing, and the scenic views along the river were absolutely beautiful. After the effort of the hike, it felt like the perfect reward. Overall, this tour was well worth it, and Owen’s professionalism and kindness made it even better. Highly recommend this experience and especially Owen as a guide!
