We offer pickup from the hotel. After that, we will have a welcome drink of tea or coffee. We will explain about the spices and vegetables. You can choose what to make as a curry and you can cut and chop the vegetables. We will teach you how to cook it. Finally, you can eat the meal. Dishes will be customizable based on daily market offerings, preferences and dietary restrictions. Choose from a variety of fresh, local vegetables and ingredients. Every gathering is different!

5.00We loved this Kandy cooking class with Granny! An absolute delight to be invited into her cosy home and learn how to cook Sri Lankan food from scratch. The food is delicious and the recipes are a lovely momento to take home and to remake for ourselves.

5.00This was the best experience i've had so far in Sri Lanka, Nandi (King Coconut) was the best teacher ever, she was very informative and talked us through the whole process, it was also great being taught new recipes and the meaning behind them. Would recommend to anyone even if you only have a few hours in Kandy!!

5.00The class was wonderful, the food very good. I learned so much and enjoyed the day. Nandy was sweet, funny and very informational. Meeting location on confirmation is not accurate, middle of the street between 2 parking lots. Be sure to verify before hand. Also be prepared that return is not covered. Sad, the price was reasonable. I would have been prepared to pay more in advance than extra at the end.

5.00Was truly a unforgettable and amazing experience! We were picked up at our hotel and brought to the markets where each ingredient was explained to us. They also let us sample a variety of fruits. Once we were done with the markets we were transported to a lovely house in the hills where we cooked some of th most amazing Sri Lankan food with Granny. Learnt so much about Sri Lankan food and had the most wonderful time cooking with her. Would highly recommend everyone to give this experience a shot!

5.00Very good experience! They picked us up from our hotel and we went to the market first. There we learned a lot about vegetables and fruits grown in sri lanka. Granny was so kind in the kitchen. Her daughter in law and granny made this cooking class unforgettable. Thank you!
