The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

This was once the place where the famous Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang(Tripitaka) translated Buddhist scriptures, and the spread of Buddhism in China also began here.

5.00I was a solo female traveller to Xi'an and so it was important for me to feel safe and reassured. In the initial booking stages Wendy was very helpful, informative and quick to respond to my questions. On the day, one of Wendy's guides 'Doris' was waiting in my hotel reception for me, nice and prompt. Doris was wonderful. Friendly, warm, chatty, and very knowledgeable about the area! We visited three places that I had arranged with Wendy: Banpo Nolithic Village, Terracotta Warriors + the Hot Springs. We had a private driver for the day - also a female and so it was a lovely peaceful relaxing day. And because we were on a private tour we could be relaxed with our time. I would confidently recommend this service to anyone looking to book a private tour day - that doesn't cost the earth!
