Experience the world's most haunted city on a ghost tour of Edinburgh and be spooked by one of the city's most infamous sons as they lead you around the dark side of the Old Town. Discover the hidden wynds (alleys) off the Royal Mile and hear some of Edinburgh’s horrifying secrets.
Then, visit what is regarded as the most haunted graveyard in the world at "Greyfriars Kirkyard." Finally, go deep underground and explore the Edinburgh Vaults beneath the streets. Completed in 1788, the series of chambers were used to house taverns and as storage space for illicit material, including the bodies of people killed by serial killers Burke and Hare for their medical experiments.
Journey through over 400 years of history and hear terrifying true tales of hangings, torture, murders and witchcraft. Shiver at the weird noises and unexplained smells that make an appearance after dark!

The tour was okay but not very impressive. It’s called a ghost tour but hardly any mention of ghosts or hauntings.

5.00Frederick was incredibly funny and charming. We had a wonderful time, shared lots of laughs, and learned a great deal along the way. It was a truly special experience, and Frederick made it even more memorable. He is an outstanding tour guide, and we would highly recommend him.

2.00We were so looking forward to this event however sadly we were greatly disappointed with the experience. This was definitely due to the OTT act of the tour guide. It was difficult to understand what he was saying at times because of the over the top play acting and yes while we all love a laugh he was down right rude at times. We left feeling very let down. It was a complete waste of money and we will certainly not be recommending it to family and friends.

1.00Not a ghost tour. Underground is very limited and tour was generally very disappointing. Not worth the money paid for it. Should have booked a standard walking tour of the city.
