This is a fantastic site. It appears to be almost the same as it was in 1863 with many monuments (1400 apparently) detailing various actions, commemorations and locations around the site. Our bus driver was lovely and very helpful and Clay, the guide was very knowledgeable albeit we spent more time on the Confederate battle lines rather than the Union side. I’d definitely do it again.

Our bus guide was extremely knowledgeable. It was fascinating to learn the facts and see all the monuments and holes left in buildings and barns from bullets and cannonballs, and find out how the battles went throughout those three horrible days. We would almost need to come again to assimilate all the information provided and then take time to walk the area some to absorb it all! It was fascinating , enlightening and excellently done!

As I was already Knowledgeable about this battlefield I took the tour on a recommendation from a friend. It was as expected, and the tour guide knowledgeable. I Recommended for all visitors. Duration about right at 2 hours.

The only way to get a full and complete understanding of the battle. Our guide was very informative and had a great knowledge of the battle. The little stories that accompanied the tour made it even more complete. The only way to tour the battlefield.
