Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. The relic was historically held by Sinhalese kings. The temple of the tooth is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple and the relic.

Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple
Sri Bhakta Hanuman Kovil Temple is one of the critical Hanuman Temples in Sri Lanka located on the peak of the stunning scenic hill in Ramboda 30 KM northern to Nuwara Eliya. The Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka formed this Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. Shri Bhakta Hanuman Kovil temple is devoted to the God Hanuman, and this is one of the important sites of the Ramayana Tour in Sri Lanka. In addition, guests can observe the 18 feet Hanuman statue, the tallest Hanuman sculpture in Sri Lanka.
Ramboda Waterfall
the eleventh tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th tallest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. The waterfall is formed by the Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. The falls have an elevation 945 m (3,100 ft) above sea level.

At the southern end of the town is Gregory Lake where the holiday makers can enjoy a leisurely walk on the paved walk ways, with swan shaped paddle boats for the more adventurous. 5.00We have just had 6 days travelling with our driver/ guide Jagath who was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, finding unique places to see and also catering for a couple of medical personal problems that arose. Jagath was there to make sure all went well. The accommodation that had been selected was exceptional Great driver/ guide and great experience

5.00Pandi is very knowledgeable and has great hospitality. Loved the entire trip under his guidance…. Started from Colombo and ended at Jaffna and covered Galle, Unawatuna, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Sigiriya, Anuradhapura in between all in 6 days.

5.00We went through an agency who connected us with our driver, Mr Mendis. He is a great driver and was very responsible for our safety. Being a female couple, he ensured we are safely in our hotel room each night before leaving. As he is more of a driver than a tour guide, it will help to do some of your own research on places of interests you’ll like and he will be able to advise well. Recommended to check each tour’s prices before you commit and do ensure you have some local currency as most small shops and restaurants only accept rupees.
