What To Expect
This winery is usually closed because it does so many weddings there. It is booked out for weddings through the end of next year. It boast a large log cabin main house with sweeping grounds with massive cottonwood trees. Its 5 natural springs feed a lake with a water feature. With its great wines and gourmet food and live music on the weekends it is no wonder that this vineyard is the "number one" vineyard wedding destination in Northern Arizona. Since we are one of the few wine tour companies that is permitted to go there, if Dancing Apache is open we will go there instead of Alcantra winery.

1.00Bait and Switch. Not customer friendly, lousy communication. Vendor wouldn't refund my money after he bait and switched on me. I booked a tour the night before. The site CLEARLY said 11AM pickup at my hotel. AFTER he charged my account, I received a notice saying my pick up time and location were now different. This did not fit my schedule and I called asking for a refund. I told him that if I was aware BEFORE he charged my card that the time and location could be different, I would have passed. He refused, pointing to some obscure fine print, saying the time and location were only estimates. If true, that info was completely obscure and not what the booking engine portrayed. In the spirit of full disclosure, the credit card company took his side, because since this was a last minute booking, the site said there would be no refund. Not cool.

1.00It was basically an expensive uber. There were no wine tours or descriptions of the wine. The wineries were all next door to each other and only 20 minutes outside Sedona. Wine tastings not included which was stated but i thought for the price there would be a more immersive wine experience.

5.00What a great excursion! It was our first time visiting Sedona and the wine tour was a great way to see part of the town and taste local wines. The bus itself was very spacious and the charcuterie box was delicious! A bit pricey at some of the wineries but it was worth the experience.

5.00Fun day experiencing the wineries in the Verde Valley. Dennis was a great driver....has good information to share regarding the region. The trip advertises stops at 4 wineries, but one of them (Cove Mesa) is a tasting room as they don't have their own wines yet. The have a good variety of local wines for sale, but I wouldn't call it a winery per se. It was a gorgeous day so I'd rather just spend the time outdoors at 3 actual wineries vs. a stop indoors at a tasting room. All in all, great day. Recommend!
