Discover Kutná Hora the comfortable way — without the rushing typical of most tours. Spend a full day exploring in a small group at a relaxed, unhurried pace.
After convenient hotel pickup in Prague, we begin at a rarely visited folk village museum. We peek into traditional huts and learn about Czech crafts and traditions.
After lunch, we explore Kutná Hora, once one of Europe’s richest towns. Visit two cathedrals, stroll cobblestone lanes and see the Royal Mint and Palace. We also stop at viewpoints or meet artisans like a winemaker, ceramicist or jeweler.
We end the day at the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary), visiting in the late afternoon when it is usually quieter, before returning to Prague.
Please note: The folk museum is closed on Mondays and in winter (Nov, Dec 31–Mar 15). On these dates, we visit alternatives such as Český Šternberk Castle or the Folk Costume Museum.

Step inside homes, peek into an old schoolroom or stable, and discover folk traditions — some of which are still alive today. Please note: The open-air museum is closed on Mondays and seasonally in November and from December 31 to March 15. During these dates, we’ll visit another charming site that fits the spirit of the tour.

Oh my gosh. If you are looking for a tour guide in the Czech Republic stop looking and book Czech Out Tours now before somebody else steals the spot you want. Everything about our tour was perfect from beginning to end. The tour was incredibly well planned and everything fit together perfectly. I can recommend Czech Out Tours for Kunta Hora hands down a perfect tour. We also booked a private tour that fit our needs perfectly. I have some mobility issues and great care was taken to make sure my limitations didn’t interfere with our journey. I am leaving with great memories, tons of cool pictures and a new guide friend that I will call on again the next time I am in this neck of the woods.

Worth every dime! Jana was the best tour guide we could have asked for. She was adventurous, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. We had a wonderful day, learned so much, and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. She never rushed us through any exhibits and maintained a relaxed, laid-back pace throughout the tour. We saw so many beautiful places and gained a deeper appreciation for the area. Highly recommended!

It was a full day, but a small group made it very easy. Our guide, Jana, was very knowledgeable and eager to share information and history of the area with us. She also was flexible with lunch times and choices. Entry to Kutna Hora is timed entry, and she made sure we knew that part was not flexible.

Jana handled herself very well through an unexpected delay early in the tour. The delay was in no way the fault of the tour company. The tour itself was great with excellent stops throughout the day, and the best meal I had during my stay in Prague. The St. Barbara's church was amazing.

Our guide picked us up at our lodgings and it ended up being a private tour as we were the only ones booked. He was very friendly and knowledgeable with a clear love of history, travel, and sharing “hidden gems” with his clients. The folk museum was closed on Mondays when we went so we got to stop at Sternberk Castle instead, which was amazing for its history and beauty and we also got a private tour there. Kutna Hora was our main destination and the town was even better than expected. We got to tour all the promised sites with lots of context and explanation from our guide and had a nice, traditional lunch included. He also took us to some fun shops, a jewelry store for me, a chocolate shop for my son, and gelato shop for all of us! A definite trip highlight and would recommend to anyone.

Great private experience. It was me and my friend, Andrej was our guide. He picked us up in a van, as well as 4 other people who booked the tour, and it was very comfy for the whole ride. Andrej was very informative and entertaining, and was very easy to talk to about the sites we visited as well as answering our questions about Czech culture. The restaurant we had lunch at was a fantastic Czech restaurant, highly recommend getting the lunch included. We were back at our place at about 5pm

Czech Out Tours was so awesome! We did 3 days of tours with them on our visit to Prague and they were all really great!! We visited Kutna Hora with Ondrej and Jana with a small group. It was really well organized. First we stopped at a beautiful Castlw and had a tour there. Then we went to Kitna Hora. Both guides were very knowledgeable and gave great information about the history on the town as well as some history of the country. We visited the bone church, 2 cathedrals a chocolate shop which had a little museum. We also had a great lunch and the opportunity for some wine tasting. I highly recommend Czech Out tours!!!
