This tour led along the "Walk of Fame" up to the famous "Griffith Observatory." Especially at dusk or at night, the view over a large part of this mega-city Los Angeles is breathtaking. There is also much to discover inside the observatory - whether it is the history of astronomy or the various discoveries in space using different telescopes (including Hubble). Very interesting and highly recommendable!

The observatory is great! The driver/host was like having your brother’s unemployed friend show up for dinner and share random things about himself. He needs to work on his craft and stop winging it.

This is a great, entertaining ride up to the observatory; with sights of Hollywood pointed out along the way. My advice would be to sit on the left of the bus. As there are more things to see on that side. Be sure to bookmark around 2 hours for the tour too. I took the tour in early March. The views from the observatory around sunset were spectacular. Also, take something warm if you go around this time of year. Otherwise the ride down will be pretty chilly. I ended up buying a hoodie from the gift shop.

This was a really nice ride through some parts of scenic Hollywood up to the Observatory. We also got a lot of attention from the locals as upose to walking through on my own.. people wanted to make sure we got their extra two cents on places they actually lived in and grew up in which was great. Also i opted for this trip because it was a lot easier to ride the bus up to the Observatory than hike a trail even though i will be doing that next. Our driver Daren timed our arrival perfectly with us catching the sunset and also the full moon that was significantly orange i got some great pics, we were wayyyyy up in the mountains! Daren also took some awesome pictures for me as i was traveling alone.. couldnt be a better experience. The trip is closer to 2 hours but i feel like it was worth every minute with Daren's personal experiences with celebrities and the funny stories he had because he actually lives in the area, it made it that much better. His knowledge is impeccable there were so many things i didnt know and would simply have walked right past not knowing the history of some of the sites. Overall great experience and great for kids as well.

First time joining a night tour and I'm completely satisfied with this one. Seeing the sun set while riding the bus and listening to our passionate/comedic guide, then visiting the Griffith Observatory to see the Hollywood sign even closer created a memorable experience for my sister and I. I recommend this tour to anyone else who likes to see the city lights at night. Quick disclaimer if you plan to drive and park here, please arrive as early as possible so that you don't have to struggle to locate the office, which is nested in the Ovation mall. But if you do get lost, then you're very welcome to call their number for agent to support you.
