What To Expect
You will come to realize Fernandina's history is similar yet unlike any other in America. We pride ourselves in having more governing independent and national flags flying over our little island more than any other place in our country, eight sepperate governments would opperate Amelia Island within three hundred years. The question is, why would so many different people groups choose Fernandina over other parts of North America? In our tour we discuss all of these questions while visiting the iconic historicak streets and homes that were full of life just prior to the Civil War. So, stretch your legs and feet and be prepared for a life altering experience.

A must do in Amelia Island!

5.00My husband and I lucked out when a large group who were supposed to be on our tour cancelled so we had Timothy as a private tour guide! He was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable about Amelia Island and provided all sorts of interesting side facts and took us all around the historical district. I would highly recommend this tour to learn more about the area and its interesting history. I’d also recommend requesting Timothy if you can! A must do if you are in the area!

4.00Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable about Fernandina history. We walked around and he pointed out many areas of interest and he was generous with historical facts time offering to go a bit beyond the scheduled tour if we had the time. Fernandina is charming but has a complicated multinational history. We were a group of 5 and enjoyed this tour!
