What To Expect
A fun and interesting way to experience the rural life in Hoi An and Vietnamese cuisine. What You will do You will be picked up by local tour guides at the hotel or our meeting point Bebe tailor . And take you to the Hoian colorful market.They will help you to comunicate with the local traders in the market and show you how to select and buy the good quaility food for the cooking class after that. The tour continue from the market directly on to the bamboo basket boat on the canals of the Nipa forest.You will be immersed in the natural beauty of the Nipa palm coconut forest and enjoy crab fishing.This is so cool! You have a chance to contemplate the river beauty in the countryside of Vietnam,the traditional way of catching fish as well as the lives of the hospitable fishermen here.This special moment will afford you the opportunity to take unforgettable pictures Vietnam rural scenes and people. After such eco-tour activities, you will be welcomed in the restaurant and participate in cooking around 2 hours with our chef.cooking recipe is ready for you after cooking class,you can recreate its at home.

A fun morning of cooking and crab fishing

5.00What a happy way to spend a morning. Tam was welcoming and kind. A whistle stop tour of the market and a fun coconut boat ride and crab fishing. Our young boys enjoyed catching crabs and helping with the cooking. Tam did a lovely job involving them and encouraging non-cooks to participate and help. We made a delicious lunch of papaya salad, BBQ eggplant, mushroom pancakes, noodles and caramelised bananas. The kids loved the noodles, pancakes and bananas. A great experience. Thank you!

5.00Tam was amazing!! He was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. We went to the clown Hoi A market and then he drove us via motorbike to a small fishing village where we went to the river for some traditional crabbing. When we went back to the house to cook he was very helpful and knowledge. And my god the food was as amazing!!!!! A true Vietnamese experience. Especially for the price. Highly recommend !

4.00It was a really great experience. At home, I don’t like to cook. But I did like this cooking class! All the ingredients are fresh from the area. Some ingredients were new to me, others are the same we have in Europe. It was a lot and I couldn’t finish it, but I got a take-away bag. They are sending the receipe to me, so I can try to cook it at home too.

5.00The cooking class with teacher Tam was simply excellent. The entire cooking class was excellently organized, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. I was particularly impressed by the way Tam explained and demonstrated each step. Everything was shown very clearly, patiently, and professionally, so that everyone could easily keep up. His passion for cooking was clearly palpable and made the course a special experience.
