What To Expect
Monument aux Girondins
Get to know the history of one of Bordeaux's most important monuments, why it was built, and what is its relation with the french revolution. We will walk around the monument, there are no entrance fees.
Grand Theatre
A magnificent landmark of Bordeaux, one of the oldest theaters in all of Europe! We will walk around the Grand Theatre of Bordeaux while giving information about its history and why it is one of the best landmarks of the city. We will not go inside. But I will show pictures that I have of the amazing interior.

5.00An excellent tour of Bordeaux, with a very good mix of history, stories, modern aspects and tasty cenele. The pacing was good and Saïd's recommendations for a cafe and (of course) a good wine shop turned out to be very good too. The logistics of meeting up with Saïd were also well managed and straightforward. Happily recommended.

5.00My wife and I were the only guests on this tour. Said let us set the pace. He is very well versed in the history of Bordeaux and the key sites he chose for us to visit provided great backdrops for his broader history commentaries. Said is generous and personable. He was willing to go off script and answer our broader questions about France and life in Bordeaux. His English is perfect. We recommend this tour and should we return we would like to experience the other tours he offers.
