Escape the crowds aboard TUATAU V, your own private 50-foot luxury catamaran, reserved exclusively for your family or friends (up to 14 guests). Choose between a fully customizable full-day cruise (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) or sunset cruise (11:00 AM–7:00 PM).
Discover the spectacular Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay, anchor at pristine sandbars, snorkel in crystal-clear lagoons, paddleboard, swim with rays, reef sharks and tropical fish, and relax while admiring Moorea's breathtaking scenery. During the season, you may also encounter dolphins, sea turtles and humpback whales.
Our experienced bilingual captain and hostess share their passion for Polynesian culture, making every cruise unique. Complimentary water, soft drinks, fresh fruit and snacks are included. Catering can be arranged, or you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

What To Expect
Temae
Once leaving the Vaiare marina and leaving the coral reef behind us, we enter the Deep Blue, the turquoise shallows give way to a vivid cobalt depth. The shoreline of Temae Beach—white sand fringed with lush palms—appears on our way while cruising towards the Cook Bay. Spinner dolphins may join us, as they are known to leap in sync with boats or glide nearby. We may also experience the unforgettable encounters of migrating humpback whales on our way. From July to November, Moorea’s waters become a critical stop for those incredible whale mothers coming to give birth offshore.

Along our way, depending on your desire and timing, we will be snorkeling at one of the Mooera sandbars. This experience is an unforgettable sensory escape—crystal-clear water, minimal effort, and an intimate glimpse into a vibrant underwater world. This isn't just snorkeling—it’s a tranquil communion with Moorea’s lagoon, where everything from the white sand to the rippling light feels in harmony. The scenes—rays drifting by, sharks passing near without aggression, fish scattering in color—create a profound sense of connection with the ocean’s calm wonders.

The entire experience was perfect for our family—from the breathtaking turquoise water to the incredible snorkeling spots and marine life. We saw rays, sharks, colorful fish, and even turtles, all while enjoying a relaxed and personalized experience away from the crowds. The crew was friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and welcome throughout the excursion. They were especially patient with our children and made sure everyone had an unforgettable time. 5.00On a family trip of 8 including 2 children. We had the most amazing time on the boat. Marc was incredible with logistics and super responsive and flexible before the trip. The captain and co-captain were incredibly kind and made our day incredibly special. Highly recommend this for anyone. We are excited that we booked 2 days. The catamaran was very comfortable.

5.00We booked a catamaran charter with Marc and his crew on June 9th, 2026, and our group of four adults and three kids (ages 6, 9, and 9) could not have asked for a more memorable day. From the moment we booked, Marc was incredibly communicative and helpful. He guided us through food and drink options, travel logistics, and even arranged a private driver from the cruise port to the dock. Our driver was a wonderfully friendly local who took the time to introduce our kids to the island, its landmarks, and its culture; a very thoughtful start to the day. At the dock, we were welcomed by Marc and his crew, Manea and Tehani, and set off quickly. Within minutes, we were greeted by a pod of dolphins. Manea made it magical for the kids, helping them safely watch the dolphins from the forward nets. Local juices and pastries added an authentic touch that we all appreciated. Our first snorkeling stop was a bit rough with the current, but the crew made sure we were comfortable with gear and a SUP. Afterward, we cruised around a beautiful bay, giving the kids a chance to see the landscapes they’ve imagined so many times while watching Moana. The second snorkeling spot was calm and perfect. The kids had a cannonball competition off the side of the boat, and we all enjoyed snorkeling over the reef, watching the fish, and paddle boarding through the lagoon. The crew was exceptional with our children. My 6‑year‑old son absolutely idolized Manea and spent much of the day at the helm learning what it’s like to captain a catamaran in paradise. My daughter and her friend didn’t stop smiling for hours. Thank you, Marc, Manea, and Tehani, for an unforgettable experience. We’re leaving with full hearts and photos that will absolutely be framed on our walls for years to come. If you’re considering booking, do it. You will not be disappointed. We are sincerely grateful and hope to see you all again many times in the future.

5.00We had an absolutely incredible day on our private catamaran tour of Moorea! From start to finish, everything was very easy to coordinate. Marc went above and beyond to make sure we had everything set up for a lovely day, including clear directions and recommendations of how to plan our day. Our captain, Manea, was knowledgeable and professional. He made sure to cater the experience to what we wanted to do. Kahaya was our hostess and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. The scenery was breathtaking, the boat was beautiful and well-maintained, and the experience felt both relaxing and special. The catered lunch was a great add on and I highly recommend. It was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, it truly exceeded our expectations. We stopped at two locations to snorkel and were able to see lots of fish, dolphins, and sharks. If you’re looking for a memorable day on the water, this is it. Highly recommend—an easy 5 stars!

5.00Sleagh~My friends and I had a wonderful day on board Boat TUATUA with Captain Jason and Hei. The boat is absolutely luxurious and very well maintained by the owner Marc. The weather was perfect for sailing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The whole booking process was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. Highly recommended! 船长很友善，船也非常赞！强烈推荐！船长准备了各种水果，巧克力，饮料等！中午还帮我们去餐厅订了餐！晚上直接送回邮轮码头，非常愉快的一天！

5.00We had a wonderful cruise in Moorea. Our group ranged in age from 15 to 81, and everyone had a great time. The boat was beautiful and the scenery of the island was stunning. Our crew was wonderful, attentive and made the day even more enjoyable. Snorkeling in the warm turquoise water was definitely a highlight. Communication with the owner was excellent, we were able to arrange a delicious catered lunch the day prior. We hope to return and book again!
