Meet your guide in Versailles at the foot of the Equestrian Statue of the Sun King, Louis the 14th. After been welcome by your guide you will be taken on a guided inside visit of the Royal Apartments. You will walk through the palace and learn its history, including the fact that it was home to three of France’s most illustrious Kings for over 100 years.
Following your interior visit of the Palace and after having said bye to your guide, you will have the opportunity spend some free time in the gardens, a 2,000-acre (809-hectare) park filled with fountains, statues, and classic formal garden landscaping
You will even get the chance to see the Musical Gardens show if visiting Versailles on a Tuesday or a Friday or the Musical Fountains Show if taking the tour on a Saturday or a Sunday. (BUT Remember! Tickets to the Gardens are not included in the tour. You must expect to pay to get access to the Musical Gardens Show or Musical Fountains Show)

Palace of Versailles
The chateau and gardens count among the most prestigious monuments of the world’s artistic heritage, and are certainly the finest and most complete achievement of 17th century French art. Former residence of the ‘Sun King’ Louis XIV, this sumptuous royal palace was home to three of France’s most illustrious Kings for over 100 years. The guided tour of the palace includes the State Apartments of the King and Queen, Royal Chapel and Hall of Mirrors, a richly decorated gallery which boasts 357 mirrors, french bay windows and crystal chandeliers.

5.00We visited during France's heatwave, so the only negatives were that it was very hot and very crowded although this was to be expected. The tour goes by fast and it gives a good basic overview of some of the major players in Versailles leading up to the French Revolution. If you know nothing about French history leading up to the revolution or Versailles under King Louis XIV then this is a great tour to get a basic understanding. If you are a history buff and know a lot about Versailles and French history you may want to look into a full day tour as this tour only had time to give a general overview and wasn't able to get into a lot of details.

5.00Words cannot describe your visit to the Palace of Versailles - you must go and see it! We booked the 9:00AM tour which was great because is was at opening time before all the crowds arrived. Our tour guide was Olivia and she was spectacular. She helped us understand the history of Versailles with telling us wonderful stories instead of stating lots of boring facts. She had a great sense of humor. She was professional and considerate of out group and others around us. We used the whisper headsets and they worked great. The palace is beyond words - so impressive and a must see. We packed a lunch and found a nice spot in the gardens to enjoy it. It was very hot the day we went so we rented one of the golf carts to ride around the garden. It was well worth the 40 euro! We had such an enjoyable day. I highly recommend booking this tour.

5.00Mo was a great tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and maneuvered through the palace with ease. The palace itself was unlike anything I’ve seen in all my travels. Pictures truly do not do justice to this opulent historical landmark. Highly recommend going to the gardens. We would highly recommend any tour with Mo!

2.00Our guide “Chin” did not know much (if any) history of Versailles. I’ve been on many guided tours and this one was a true disappointment. We learned more the next day on a louvre tour about Versailles than when we were there. Big bummer!

4.00Our first time at the palace. Was surprised at how crowded it became. Skipping the long lines with a tour was a must. Save a lot of time. It was supposed to be a small group tour but our guide was given an extra group so even our tour was packed. All in all, a must do while in Paris
